Yay, I was there for just about 5 minutes on the Bloodscalp server with my hunter. I was just landing in Ratchet from the Crossroads, so I was like "Eh, I'll just check."
I stabled my kitty, Aspect of the Cheetah-ed my ass up there, and saw him sleeping! Easy tame, Freeze + Conc.
Oh, and for those who still aren't sure, this rare kitty spawns under the shade of the tree directly NORTH of the word RATCHET on your map. It is full of Savannah lions, and he spawns in the shade. :)
