A few notes on this quest:
      • As told above, Fel Glands are dropped by Greater Felfire Diemetradon, Felfire Diemetradon, Felboar, Netherskate.
      • If you hit 12 Glands, mobs won't drop any more.
      • You can poison about 5-6 camps right in the Dragonmaw Camp without danger.
      • Place the poisoned meat FAR from the camps. If you place it right below the crystals, the mobs may evade, you will waste 1 gland, and you will have to farm one more.
      • Even when placing the trap far from the camps, some peons may evade, but if just one eats the meat, it'll be enough.
      • Don't go far from the meat you just placed, models may dissappear due to draw distance and you will waste one gland.
      • You can do this faster if you group with someone, 6 glands from your mate and 6 from you and it's done. (as long as you are near eachother when poisoning camp)

While it is true you can only have the 12 fel glands, the same does not hold true for oter Netherwing quest items.  Items such as flayer hides and crystals can be farmed as often as you like.  Don't even have to have the quest to farm them and you can have more than the required number for the quest.  I make it a point to go there and skin carcasses left behind.  I haven't tried to see if the tabards will drop after you have already done the daily quest.

Possibly the worst daily quest ever!

        1) The Fel Glands cannot be farmed on Netherwing ledge
        2) The glands have ridiculously low droprates for a daily quest.
        3) Worst of all...sometimes the mutton thing bugs and the peons won't eat it...causing you to have to go farm MORE glands!

Blizz needs to re-evaluate this pathetic excuse for a daily quest.

The overall drop rate on these is a lot closer to 35% than 5%.  However, most nights when I'm doing this quest, I end up killing 10 or 15 animals before getting any drops.  Once or twice, and I'd think it was just bad luck, but this seems to be a consistent issue, which makes me think (not for the first time) that there's a secondary mechanism at work on quest-item droprates beyond a simple percentage chance per loot.

This will definitely not be one of the quests I do for money once I hit Exalted with Netherwing.  What a pain in the ass.

This is quite possibly the worst quest in WoW to date.

As others have stated, it is extremely buggy, prone to forcing to to retrace your steps for another meat.

Even when everything goes well, you're looking at a *minimum* time investment of at least 45 minutes. That is ASTOUNDING for a daily. Most of the Netherwing quests, while painfully dull, are at least 15-20 minute affairs. This one usually took upwards of 1/3rd of my total daily grind.

      That's ridiculous, Blizzard.

Here is how to do this quest:

Day 1: Farm 12 Glands, go poison 6 camps, farm 6 more glands, poison 6 more camps, quest done, 6 glands in pack.

Each day after: go pick up quest, poison 6 more camps (with the extra glands you picked up yesterday) then farm 12 more glands, fly back and poison 6 more camps, quest done, 6 glands left in pack.

This way, if you run into a bugged camp, you don't have to fly back for one more gland.  Alternatively, if a camp is bugged, Netherskates drop glands too, and they are pretty close to the ledge.

you find a camp with THREE WORKING peons (not sleeping, being disobedient or whatnot). you use the meat, and stand COMPLETELY STILL until they have eaten the meat and you have gotten credit for them dying. if there are only 2 mobs in the camp, or if you move when you've placed the meat, it might bug. easy.

Yeah, I've only done this quest once, but I would surely agree that it's annoying. And you know what, the longer I walk around, especially in SMV, I see many ridiculous things like this and the entire development team at Blizz should know better. So I have a feeling that there is just single one guy in Blizzard development that want us to truly feel the pain.

The horrible flight routes that takes you to a location, away from it and back again for no reason? Yep, that guy.

The 2,4% drop rates on 89% of the quests in the game? Yep, he chose that drop rate.

The bugged quest that haven't been fixed even though they been in the game for a year or more? Yep, that's his responsibility.

If we ever find out who this horrible man is, I am sure that every WoW player will want to rip out his heart, cut his flesh with a Skinning Knife and use their Cooking skill to make a Nasty Human Brain out of his inner organs so many times that he will never forget the pain he caused upon us.

When I first did this quest and just stayed on one type the drop rate was terrible.
