Pattern drops from trash in SSC. Takes two nether vortexes to make, which also drops from trash there.

It's a trash mob pattern... and I really hope you wouldn't put two +8 Str gems in it, Agi would be so much more useful for tanking.

Instead, 2x Solid Star of Elune or 2x Shifting Nightseye would beat agi gems ;).

Deffinately 2 shifting nightseyes for a total of +12 stam and 8 agi to the already impressive stats.

  2 shifting nights eyes add +16 stam cause u get the socket bonus of +4 stam =)which is what i put in mine

  As i just won rolls on Nether Vortexes, so i can make that belt for my self, you realize that you lose other loot for using dkp on Vortexes.
  
  If your going to sell that belt, it's going to be expensive. Cause no1 will realy farm vortexes for sale of armors yet. maybe in a few months you can see belts like 'Belt of Natural Power' on AH for like 2k gold, but for now the price that you came up with is imo cheap.

  On the Kel'Thuzad server it's been offered for 1800g plus mats. I was very tempted, but then my guild figured out we can actually kill stuff in SSC and TK, so I'll just be patient.

Yea.. I'll just wait till this drops for us again in the Eye or SSC.. Dropped a few weeks ago, a shaman got it, then left a few weeks later. Didn't bid on it myself due to me not being 375 Leatherworking.. yet. I'd use Girdle of Treachery for Dps and this one for Tanking. This one can be a little bit better for dps than the girdle, but the girdle is easy to come by, and I'd rather use the one thats better for tanking for tanking and not dps. Or I could always get two, once I can make them... but.. yea... thats kinda pricey.. and I yet to have my Epic flying

Dropped for me in TK .. And socket it with 12 sta and 8 agi would be perfect.. the booring is that u need nether and pretty rare drop..

Still waiting for this damn belt pattern to drop. Q.Q We got 3 Boots of Utter Darkness patterns the other day, but this one never wants to drop

just got this crafted on uldum for 600g + mats i farmed most of the mats and guild chipped in 300g so only cost me 300g =)

Yes, it's BoE after crafted. Just got it made on my dr00d- it's a lot cheaper to get now if you're not an LW, since vortexes are BoE after 2.4 =)

This belt is the heat. Just got it made for my druid. Three hours to farm the mats, 2 vortex's from badges, and 50g crafting fee. So it cost me a grand total of 50g. Awesome!

sorry man, but your grand total is not 50g... u spent 30 badges... that take time! time that youd be gettin money... so your grand total is more like 50g and 30 badges or around 300-500g depending on server

  Time farming (including badges) is not nearly the same as money spent. The thing is, while farming those badges (and mats) you invariably make money. So, instead of spending all your gold (like I did) to get this made, you spend time farming, then have the belt and MORE money than when you started. I'm just impatient, and Vortexes are only 200g on my server so I bought all the mats.

  lol no not even close, maybe you need to join a guild that can clear Kara in less than 6 hours, cause 30 badges are not that hard to come by.

So im assuming this is the best druid tanking belt aside to T6 belt?

sum druids are pretty dumb... just cos it has int doesn't mean it's good for dps or healing, the stats scream bear / kitty druid, so don't waste time and money getting this to make it nearly wortless

No but seriously, this belt is really nice. I would gem it with BT Gems because you're gonna be using that for a while.
A Shadowsong cut into the Agi+ and Stam+ would be the best choice imo.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice belt.
But Waistguard of the Great Beast is better with the extra agi and hit. That and it costs a measly 60 badges. This belt is going to cost you upwards of 1000g or else you are going to spend a lot of time farming for it and spending badges on the nether anyways.

Just like most craftables, unless you got this pattern early, looks like you will have to make your money somewhere else.

Unless you are really stacking hit rating the +18 hit isn't going to do much for you at all. Personally I like the more armor and stam that I get from the Belt of Natural power, and in the long run I only loose out on 8 agi and 3 str (if you gem the same) and a small amount of hit. If you are making a tps set and need the hit spend the badges, if not I say farm the mats (they are expensive but if you find a engineer friend you can get about 6 primal airs an hour on a not very good day, and vortexes are easy to get).
