Ok I myself play a paladin, and people saying that paladins shouldn't raid as ret is just stupid. I can see what they mean when they say we should just heal, But Ret paladins can also be helpful in 25 man raids. For example, lets say your on a very endurance fight, and you have multipule paladins in the raid, they can all judge one seal on it(Seal of wisdom, Seal of Light, Ect.) and the ret paladin can keep all of those judments up so that those other paladins don't have to be near the fight and keep whacking it. As every pally that heals should know that if the mob cleaves or does some kind of AoE effect its very hard to keep that judgment up. because they have to use the mana to keep themselves up as well as the others. But when you have a Ret paladin, they don't have to worry about that.

Also, as we as a more defensive class may not put out as much damage as something such as a rogue or Mage, but we do a decent amount of damage. We also up everyone elses damage but keeping our Improved Seal of the Crusader(give a 3% crit to everyone who hits it) and with the new aura gives 2% damage to everyone in the party. Which may not seem like alot but it can make the difference in the long run.Also, if the paladin speced into Improved Blessing of Might, that will add more damage to all the melee and hunter damage. Plus that is also another blessing you have at your desposal

So if you are one of those people who thinks that Retribution paladins are useless in raids think again. We have our uses in raids.
