Hmmm...from the very few reports of anyone even attempting him, you will need a very large raid group (35+ members), all lvl 70, with good gear to get close to him.
You need to be all flyers (or summoned I suppose)and know where/how to approach him, as he can attack flyers nearby. He has a HUGE aggro radius.
His average damage seems to be on the 12000-25000 white dmg range (plate to cloth)....no mention of his special abilities from the posts I have looked at, but pre-BC he had numerous very deadly shadow bolt effects.
Effectively, pre-BC, if your group did not get their act together and down him under 5 minutes, he completed healed himself by killing off heroes facing him (he healed for grotesque amounts when he kills someone)....assume a very similar, but ramped up, version of things in Outland.
Also as in pre-BC days, he is not always going to be around.....he has a spawn timer, so once every few days most likely he will be sighted. Just listen for the fool yelling in Hellfire penninsula when he is there.
So....short answer, anyone dreaming of one of his drops by looking on Thottbot/alakazam will likely NEVER, EVER drop him, let alone win the roll even IF 'their' item comes up.
Have Khara, Gruul and Magtheridon on farm status, and maybe you can beat him.
