Not at all, they come from killing bosses in heroic instances.

The 5 badges ARE part of the quest reward for completing this. So you'll get 3 from the bosses in heroic mana tombs, plus the 5 for completing the quest.. and 24g :D
Any class can solo it, all you need is 3 Lesser Invisibility Potions and you're done. You need to wait 2x10 minutes for the cooldown though, and pay attention to the neighbouring mana leeches
Where do you get the first quest of this chain?
Tried to stealth in using invisibility potions. Not sure about the 2nd spot to re-emerge, before waiting for the 10min cool down for the potion. Died behind pandamoniuos and in front of the next grp of mob. It is possible to re-emerge in the middle of the tunnel after pandamonious at all without aggroing the mobs in front?
Confirmed this can be soloed. Used 3 lesser invisibility potions. Needed a few tries to get it right though. It is advised that you strip off while attempting, and re-equip once the quest is done. Easy 5 badges for reward!
I can't find the second sweet spot to emerge from invisibility. Everyone saying it is easy, you are not being in the least bit helpful. Please give locations or record it for youtube.
Sweet Spot #1: Past first boss, the just on the first line dividing the cavern from the next room. Boss won't aggro, neither will the mobs just in front. Sweet Spot #2: ??? Make sure you equip faster run/walk boots or you won't make it, otherwise be naked.
Oh, this is what I get for not reading. The bubble is in the room just after first boss, on the left behind the tomb. Mage invisibility lasts 20 seconds so if you are exactly right you can get past the boss in one hit, then take a lesser invis pot (15 seconds) and run around hugging the left wall into the back left corner.
Not sure where people relying on potions are going to get past the boss.
Am I missing something? I have the stasis key, the quest. Standing in front of the chamber. I can't seem to open it. Clicking the key.. clicking the chamber. Not getting any response.
Maybe a 2.3 bug?
i used 3 inv. potions and got to the stasis chamber with the same problem, i couldnt use the key. i sat around waiting for a GM to respond and i noticed if i scanned over the chamber i would see the name of it pop up in the corner. after 10mins of trying to pinpoint the source, i found it :P there is a VERY small sliver on the bottom right egde of the chamber that u can use the key on. its on the left if you have your back to the wall

To find the spot, move the mouse over the 4 posts that hold up the pink sphere. Even then, it is difficult to get, since u need to move the mouse over a small sliver. You cannot see it, you need to move your mouse until you see that special icon.
Well I am here standing @ the chamber as a hunter, used the invsi pots and AotP and FD to get here, really wasy to get there it is bugged to hell tho found the "sweet spot" a few times from afar but dont want to risk it. On my 2nd GM ticket the first one ignored me and sent me to Survey. GG Blizz.
Well, it takes 2 Invis' to get there.
Follow left wall first time and when vis go around left and hide behind the coffins and such. I posted 2 images. 1st sweet spot to aim for, then 2nd spot to be at b4 going invis. Then follow the left wall to your target.
The stasis chamber is hard to get the right angle on when you go to open it. I was able to do it by mousing over a tangent point on the lower part of the sphere. Basically, I turned my view so that I could click the side of the chamber...then it worked. Was a *VERY* precise spot - less than a mm off and you wont be able to click it. Hopefully this helps.
Oh and a good depiction of a tangent: http://www.math.psu.edu/geom/koltsova/image160.gif basically, only touches the circle (in this case sphere) at one point. Posting screenshot when done w/ instance (used the last chamber in the instance, same deal =) Thegreatiam, Hyjal
This quest is one of the most memorable for me. Its an awful quest, but a challenge. It took me about 20 tries to get the quest item for the last quest and at 5 keys for one try, u can just imagine how much grinding I did. It was a relief to finally finish it, only to have the cell in mana tombs be bugged lol. Its really hard to open, like really hard. I spent 15 minutes trying to find the place to open it and finally did it.
This quest is a must if you want something that not many other people will have. This quest is very annoying
I tried twice, and was never able to unlock the bubble without aggroing the mana leeches. I don't know if I just had bad timing, bad luck, or if they moved the mobs. Just a word of warning for whoever tries to solo this.
qwertzuio That is a lie, becus I just did this today on Executus realm.
Getting to the sphere is very easy, read above posts for instructions. Opening the sphere on the other hand is tougher. And doing it without aggroing leeches is even harder, but I did it (had an SS luckily, since I died on the first attempt). I turned my camera around (looking at my char with her back against the wall) and searched for the sweet spot. every time I found it I moved a small step forward untill it was close enough to actually klick it. this way you keep max range from leeches. Alternative: Nuke down the closest Leecher and then die. corpserun. I cant confirm if the leecher respawns or not when the pack resets, but I can confirm that as a mage, its easy to kill one before dying.
hell yes, an easy as hell quest for stealthers! go droods
