Side note here....this pet, loses much of it's coolness once you tame it. I have always known that the pets shrink, but after taming...I was amazed. This pet shrinks to about the size of a vanity pet, I mean it is THAT small. I know they grow, but it's not going to grow that much. I was hoping for somehing a BIT bigger.
But on the plus side, it's a nice dps pet and will be good for PvP since it's smaller size will make it harder to target.
I'm still shocked at how small it is.
P.S. - Set aside about an hour of your time for this, possibly more. It took me about an hour and a half due to getting ganked. My suggestion would be to do this run naked and save some repair Bills.
If you are horde the way to do this:
First, if you haven't got the quest to run to Zoram'gar to deliver the papers, do it. Also, don't forget to get the flight path at Zoram'gar as well. May as well do this since you are headed this way anyway.
Once done with your business in Zoram'gar, hop back on the road and run into Darkshore. If you are pvp, then you are ok all the way to Auberdine. If you are PvP (like me) I HIGHLY suggest, running to the coastline and moving north from there. Don't worry about track beasts, just keep track humanoids up so you can keep an eye out for others. Once you get close to Auberdine, hop in the water. Don't worry about the threshers, they are easily avoided. Swim to the middle dock. No guards are going to port to you. Once at the middle dock go right below the surface and drown yourself. Once dead, that will put you right outside Auberdine, run to the end of the dock and wait for the boat. Once the boat gets there hop on, but don't rez quite yet. Wait for the boat to get there, then, as the boat is taking off, rez. That way if others are around, they don't know until it's too late that you are there.
Once on the boat you are home free. The boat drops you off in Azuremyst, just run through to bloodmyst, and then make your way to Amberweb pass. Be prepared for a nice little fight up the hill, as it's infested with Spiders. Zarakh is at the top. Pull the two spiders that surround him, once that's done he is easily tamed. One note, pre-tame he hits FAST, not so hard, but wicked fast. If you are 19 and dont' have freeze trap yet, I would STRONGLY suggest using the super sticky glue that you got as a quest reward (assuming you did the quest). It lasts for a decent amount of time and by the time it breaks you should be well over half way done training.
Good luck and be prepared for a small, creepy looking spider.
