Is this correct? NOT unique? I think no rogues have posted before this because their heads simply exploded when they saw it.

This is not unique, however, the gem required for it drops in BT (and from special veins in Hyjal should my knowledge hold true.) Which puts a lil' bit of a restriction on these, seeing as both are 25-man raids and lots of people will be wanting one of the craftables from it.

umm so lets say i am a lvl 70 hunter and i am not an jewel carfter can i buy em from the auction house and wear them?

You can trade 15 Badges for the gem,then you need a JC with the pattern to cut the gem.Pattern is obtained through rep. with the Sunwell,and the pattern cost is 50g.

  If you are doing Hyjal, Indormi will sell you the pattern when you reach Friendly reputation with Scale of the Sands. The gem also drops from Ancient Gem Veins.
  
  Shaani on the Isle of Quel'Danas sells gems for 15 BoJ, after the Third Phase is complete. She also sells the pattern at Friendly reputation.
  
  Big price difference between the two... but this is to be expected since the SSO rep ones are extremely easy to get. You can grind up to Exalted in less than two weeks just doing dailies.
  
  EDIT: It looks like the gems are only 10 BoJ from Shaani now, easy epic gems.

    Incorrect, they're still 15 badges.
    
    These gems are the top of the line and shouldn't be put into anything but T6 equivalent gear. I have 3 atm, will be getting more, but I wouldnt even throw them in my T5 gear yet.

      If you can afford it, buy them, put them in T4 or equivilent. The BoJ cost and AH cost of these is very small compared to the amount of money you can now grind since patch 2.4.0 through the dailies (<200g per day within 2 hours). So a day or twos work can buy you these beauties then you just need to find a gemcutter to do them for you. Personally I'd avoid getting gems with BoJs unless you have tonnes to spare since there are better more unique items that can only be obtained with BoJs.

fail. now when its so easy to have them u should improve ur t5. i have putted mine in my t4 and im happy, big difference with around 90 agi more. love SSO :p
