Ever played an Enhancement Shaman? Guess not, so don't call people retarded.
Enhancers don't run around spamming the highest level of shocks all the time. We are using our mana to place totems, purge, interrupt casts (with Earthshock rank 1) and throw in a heal from time to time.
The 35 mana per 5 sec ON THE WHOLE SET won't change anything. All it does is to ruin the item level by stealing around 87 "statmod points" for real stats. On the helmet alone this could be another 20str.
It's Shamanistic Rage which gives us back our mana, not mana/5sec.
