give it to hunter imo saying that as a 70 warrior, soulcleaver > halberd of desolation for wars

This is so a hunters weapon there is no other weapon with higher agility and stamina.

cause we too benefit from the stats on the melee weapon? we dont look at the dps as it means shit. but 100 AP = 100 ranged AP too. even more for a marksman hunter. 50 agi = 50 ranged AP and over 1% crit at that. just you having to ask something as stupid as that says enough.

After TBC was released Arms Warrior was raised to a whole new level in PVE. As it stands now, an Arms Warrior brings more utility to a raid than a Fury Warrior does. Basically it brings Mortal Strike and Blood Frenzy + all the things Fury brings (Imp. Shouts, etc). The only difference is an Arms Warrior does a bit less damage.

Question is, what's worth most? An Arms Warrior cutting a boss' healing in half, and increasing 5-10 damage dealers DPS by 4%?

This depends on the group setup. 10 DD'ers (as far as the tooltip for Blood Frenzy it's melee damage, which means Melee Shamans, Fury Warriors, Arms Warriors, the tank (more threat) and the Rogues gets affected by this, some say it's physical damage, I'm not sure but it might be that the tooltip is wrong, wouldn't be the first time, and if that's the case you can include Hunters) getting their damage increased by 4% will make up for the damage loss, then throw in MS which is useful in some enounters and you have a viable support DPS class.

Other than that it's also a lot easier for an Arms Warrior to get Imp. TC and also get Imp. Demo. Shout, and Commanding Presence, which means a big boost for them as a debuff assistant on big bosses.

I'm not saying Arms Warriors are better for a raid than a Fury Warrior, but as it stands now, depending on raid setup and encounters, they're both viable.

So, who should get this? Well I won't see this for a long time, and those who does probably have DKP to decide it, but unless I were desperate for a new 2h (which I won't since I'm getting the Arena Season 2 Sword :)) I'd pass on this for a Hunter as the stats are perfect for them (I don't say this often, take my word on that :P). In the end though, this last part doesn't matter, as I said, this comment won't (I hope) be taken into consideration by the officers setting the pref. and making the DKP system for a guild who can actually get access to this weapon

Blizz should make melee weps with really crap dps, but plenty of the appropriate stats (agil, AP, stam...) so melee classes wouldn't want it and hunters wouldn't really care if the dps of the item was crap... Me thinks.

    I'm not understanding this, there are SO many posts going back and forth about what class this should go to.  Why?  I mean, probably 2% of the people on this string of posts will ever even see the inside of Black Temple... I mean, honestly, the majority of the people yapping about "Hunter weapon!" or "MS Warrior" are still wondering if they will clear the Karazhan Opera on Monday night.

    I'm not trying to beat myself up, I'm still running lesser raids than Black Temple.  But honestly people, when it gets to the point where you are actually getting rolled against on this, then it won't be so bad.  For most, you won't see this thing until the level cap is 80 so keep your poor grammar flames to yourselves. I'm a Warrior and although this weapon has nice dps and attack power it's clear to see this is a hunter weapon. I would never roll on this, 2 reasons 1. Where's the STR? 2. It will probably be replaced in a week. Just let the Hunters roll!!!

Incredible hunter weapon (yeah it's a hunter weapon, I don't know if that was covered enough in this thread), the AP, hit rating and agi just make it boner-worthy. Probably the last weapon I'll have for my hunter, sunwell will take a while.

right now I have this on my hunter, its really great. Im in sunwell hopin for the new pole,makin sure the warr and pally in my raid dont take it from me.(wont happen any time soon.)but anyway, this is great for all those hunters wanting a better wep since there r only like 5 or 6 really good hunter weps out there for raiding anymore. my 2 cents.

Im sure all you now end - game raiders are remembering a time when a hunter would need chance on hit weps with NO STATS WHATSOEVER.... And if you do then why not even up the score? I mean warriors should have better weps by now and if they don't, why the fuck are they already end - game raiding? -_^ i mean cmon this has stamina and agi. which is really come to think of it good for any class that can use a polearm. BUT, it would just be funner to ninja the new legendary bow Kil'Jaeden is supposed 2 drop. So whatever floats your boat, im a fucking mage so i dont really give a flying fuck on what all you MS warriors do these days. And, depending on the instance, you will sometimes need a MS warrior
