Does anyone know how much armour a high end raid boss has? will this ignore a substantial amount or be a drop in the ocean?

problemo numero uno i see with this, criting a 0 res green rogue should go well ABOVE 4.5k even a normal hit with some decent gear, 2 anyone that brags that they got something, it's pretty doubtfull they have it, no one brags about what someone has in a <GAME> yes.. WoW is a game believ it or not -.-

This post is faded because it has a negative score.

I am not sure how much armor a raid boss has but the point is that armor ignore is a T6 stat that blizz added in. and when I dps I can tell right off the get go if the tank has put sunders up, and armor ignore on my gear will only help that so its a nice stat to stack because its an armor amount you will always ignore and always benefit from every swing.

What you are saying is wrong. It's okay to say things you think is right, untill you are told that it's wrong. Then it's not ok to say it anymore. Ok, here we go:

All bosses have a lot of armor yes, but this armor ignore will help out a lot, because it ignores the boss' base armor!
Bosses' base armor is multiplied in encounters, so when you ignore base armor, you will also ignore the multipliers so it will "scale" with how much armor the boss actually has.

That's what's making these kind of buffs great, because you will suddenly be striking an enemy as if he was wearing cloth or something similar.

Oh And that works well against clothies too..the scaling effect dosn't do as much armor but it brings the term squishy to a whooooole new lvl =D

Wow, you have no idea what you are talking about.  The highest boss armor valuse you see in endgame raiding is 7700, and every boss in hyjal has 6200.  In a raid environment:

          6200
          -2600 (sunder x5)
          -610 (farie fire
          -800 (CoR)
          =
          2190

Gaining 300+ armor pen is a noticable difference against these bosses, as fully debuffed they are the same as a cloth wearer in pvp.

            6200
            -2600 (sunder x5)
            -610 (farie fire
            -800 (CoR)
            -2050 (Expose armour
            =

I may be wrong but last I checked you couldnt Sunder an exposed target which would naturally apply to devastate.?.?.? unless this has changed you are gonna have one pissed off raid if you expose a boss

Of course the Str and DPS matters... I think 1 Str is about 0.753  DPS added to a weapon so if you notice a difference with about 10 DPS now see what those 135 DPS and the huge amount of STR can do.
