Regardless of what people think, people do play Ret Paladins, and those Ret Paladins would have to be bat-@#$%-loco to NOT want this sword.

Any guild that is downing this boss is going to probably be on DKP, and if a pali wants to spend on it, then go for it.

Realistically if you want to bitch about how this sword would best benefit a raid you are making a futile argument.  Two-hand DPS warriors and Ret Paladins are not all that helpful for raids when something else could take their place.  The guy that picks up this sword is probably spec'd Prot or Holy the day they pick it up, then Arms or Ret when they venture off to whack something with it.
