I lost 150 HP during the taming! It's rather easy with: - Gift of the naru and - Rough stone statue (Jewelcrafter stone giant that heals you for x seconds). :)
Had 365/516 HP after the taming.
Another good tactic is to fully clear the mountain of all spiders, and then fear him with 'Scare Beast' and then tame him while he's feared. Sometimes he'll run out of range which is annoying, therefor it's best to first wing clip him and then scare beast ---> Tame. He won't run arround so fast then! Make sure there's no spiders left.
He doesn't really have any abilities, and he becomes REALLY, REALLY small! However, it does scream your head of when it attacks, which is really cool for such a small tiny spider :)
He's worth taming, in my opinion.
Tip: When you've tamed him, feed him with the Crunchy Spider Legs you just found when killing the other spiders. It makes him happy pretty fast!
