This is a great feature; why don't more people use it??  I was hoping we'd have 100+ posts with different scores for classes / talents... but it looks like only 3 or 4 people have ever used this.

Hi think it's because people don't understand how to use it...i don't...

It should have more examples on how to use it, and explanations for interpreting the results.

It's simple.  You're entering 'equivalence points'.  In the top section, if an attribute has a '1' and another has a '2', it means the item's score will be 1*(amount of first attribute) + 2*(amount of second attribute).  It's used to make calculations to compare two items with different attributes to see which is better.

For example, for shamans, 1 strength gives you 2 attack power.  So, the attributes next to 'strength' and 'attack power' need to be in a 2:1 ratio.  (In other words, having X strength is just as good as having 2X attack power, for any value of X.)

There's formulas online that'll give you equivalence points; that's basically what you're entering here.  Look at my first 'shaman' post to see an example.  (This is taken from the Elitist Jerks forums for enhancement shamans, based off of simulations and lots of real-world testing.)
