  but he still must be downed regardless to what he is ,for the 1 simple reason=  FAT LOOT.

yeah kill illidan and loot your TR6 or the sowrds then come and talk about how inoccent he may be.
as a Night elf druid i feel not at all betrayed by him ,and wish there was a way to join him aginst the burning legion and the sgaras .but there is not.
but then again what he drops makesfor it.
ps. i think the one i  have fun downing is archimonde,for destroying the city and more.
