So this quest may be a little longer and requires you to travel more than any quest you've
probably had so far, but it's not hard...just long. To get your swimming form though, I'm
sure you'll agree it's worth it.
After recieving the Trial of the Sea Lion quest in Moonglade, you have two choices to get
back to where you need to be: either Hearthstone (if your Home is in or near Thunder Bluff)
or find the Flight Master. If you go to where the Flight Master is and speak to him and an
elf near him, they actually tell you exactly where you need to go to complete this quest.
[[Finding Pendant Piece #1]] The first half of the pendant is very simple to get. You must
go back to The Crossroads and travel northeast to The Sludge Fen. No doubt you have already
been up near this area before for other quests, so it's really not hard to find. The sludge
pool is smack dab in the middle of the two large mountains on your map. On your way, you
might have to deal with a few creatures, and once you approach The Sludge Fen, you'll notice
that the troublesome Venture Co. is gathered around here. They're small-fry if you take
them on one at a time, just be careful to not let them team up on you. Once you make it to
the murky water, you're not out of harm's way yet. There's a level 19 slug swimming around
somewhere, so watch out. Don't mind that huge building coming out of the water. The
treasure that you need is hidden behind two boards sticking up out of the water. That's it!
You've got one already.
[[Finding Pendant Piece #2]] Yes, this is the hard one! From The Sludge Fen, make your way
to Durotar to the east. Next, you need to go to the city of Orgrimmar which is to the very
north of the Durotar area (check your quests -- you may have to be here anyway for some of
them). The best way to get to Orgrimmar is just by following the road, first going
straight, and then taking a left at the fork in the road. Once you arrive in the enormous
city of Orgrimmar, first register it for a new Flight Path, and then exit the city once
more. You need to get on the Zeppelin (the flying ship) which is right outside the city's
main gates. Go to the right of Orgrimmar to the Zeppelin Tower and wait for a ride on the
ship which will lead you to the Tirisfal Glades. (Be sure you're getting on the right
Zeppelin!) You arrive just outside of the Undercity. DO NOT set your Waypoint for 29, 29
at this time. This will take you to a cluster of three little islands up north which is way
off course. Instead, you need to head WAY far south, down near The Sepulcher. To do this,
take the road left of Undercity heading down into Silverpine Forest. This will lead you
south, past a few farms. When you come to a long road going left, take it and you will wind
up in The Sepulcher. It's a good idea to register this place for a new Flight Path. Now,
you can leave town and back track a little ways past the mountains and make your way to the
coast of The Great Sea. NOW is the time to create the Waypoint of 29, 29. Just follow the
Waypoint, past the ship reckage, until you reach your destination. It may take a few
careful dives, but be reassured that there are air bubbles to breathe right next to the
treasure chest. And that's it! You're finally done!
Teleport back to Moonglade and turn in the quest!
