If you are leveling an Alt and want to minimized the cost/time to level your tailoring here is what I did to level from 300 at level 50.
First you need start about 440 Netherweve Cloth, 40 Arcane dust, 5 Greater Planar Essence, and 10 Netherweb Spider Silk. Mail it to yourself or have it in your bags.
1. When you hit 50, go to Org and get a portal from a mage to Shat.
2. Go to the flight master and get the path for Shat.
3. Mount up and ride to Falcon Watch( or straight to HH for Alliance).
4. I died when I got to HFP, but I just took rez sickness and rezzed at Falcon watch. You can fly from Falcon Watch to Thrallmar.
5. Once there talk to the Grad Master Tailor(in the Inn) and get the pattern for Bolt of Netherweave.
6. Make bolts of netherweave with all the netherweave you have, until you get to 325 when it goes grey. Learn the pattern for Netherweave bracers if you are stuck on the last point. They are great for DEing anyway.
7. Now that you are are 325, fly back to Shat, and go the the trade district in Lower city.
8. There you will find the tailor vendor that sells the pattern for Imbued Netherweave. Make 20 of them. This will get you to 340.
9. Then buy the pattern for Imbued netherweave bag from the same vendor and make 5 bags.
10. if you are in a Kara raiding guild just ask if anyone has extra Soul Essences, or you can buy 40 from the AH. Then make soul cloth to get you to 350.( the pattern is sold in Nagrand)
