In front of Hammerfall just to the east, there is a tree with a big rock in front of it, just behind that tree is the path. If you look at your map and line yourself up with the name Hammerfall it is directly east of that.
Once on the trail there is yet another tree with the same basic shape with yet another rock. All the way up the path you'll find more Kolbolts.

There is a tree at the base of the mountain range with a gravel looking path behind it, follow the path.

cords are 80, 40 of the tree at least. just follow the path behind it

there is a tree then you go behinde it and there will b a path you follow it till you get to the cave.

But when you get up on the hill near the second tree how do you get up there?

That quest sucks spent ages fighting these kobolds for shards then i have to kill double that to turn in.

i got all 12 crystals and it wouldnt let me turn in quest

This is typical blizzard longwinded lame quest were if this was
an alliance quest you get an escort and it does all the work.
Like the one in Lakeshire
