When choosing a class it is very important to make sure that you pick a class with a wide range of functions if you are not sure what you want to be doing once you reach endgame status. If you pick a class that is limited to only dps, i.e. a rogue and figure out you don't like dps-ing then you would have to create a new character that can perform a role that you do enjoy. Many people who i know have picked classes that they now wish they hadn't because of the monotony involved with their classes choice. Many people will argue over which class is the best but overall every class is equal. Some classes such as warlocks and priests go better together than others, which i discovered when i tried to do a 2v2 resto shammy duo, (LAWL). A classes specs are also very important to choosing a class. When someone i know is just starting to play WoW i usually recommend that they pick out a class with three very distinct and different specs such as a shaman, a druid, or a Paladin so they can get a feel for it. It is okay if your first class choice isn't the one you decide to keep. The first character i made was a warrior for example but i found out i didn't enjoy tanking (Uber repair bills) so instead i made a shaman and later turned the warrior into a twink. In the long run however, there is no "wrong" class choice if you enjoy it.

    If i make a twink what class should i pick? Rogue, Warrior, mage or other

rogue twinks seem to be most popular, mostly because of the high damage, stun locking, sprint, etc. it all depends on the level you want to twink, though, and the gear you have accessability to.

Imo Rogues/Warriors are easiest to twink with more pvp gear being suited to them (the 19 necklace, ring, sword etc)
They also have good talents early, for instance with warriors by spending 5points in fury u can raise melee crit chance by 5%

What class you chose depends on how you like to play. Do you like do hit the enemy fast and vicious? Do you like to slam the to death with a big two-hander? Do you like do create firespells and cast heavy, damaging spells? Do you like to have a pet and be a coward at range? Do you like to be the one who saves the party and can deal with a lot of damage? Do you wanna save the partysaver by healing him? Its all your choice. :)

yea warriors are expected to tank ALL THE TIME if you join a party it is assumed you will tank. just warning you, if you like to have fun and see the numbers flying then warrior class is not your thing

Is it a good combination if I'll coose this one:Paladin(Draenei)(Retribution)+Mining-Blacksmithing Professions?.For solo game.or it would be better if i'll choose shaman or rogue?

Paladins are getting a major buff to retribution so they WILL be able to DPS end game. Frost mages are EXTREMELY good for pvp and high end dmg end game but for raiding arcane is the best spec since alot of raid bosses are resistant to flame / frost. Fury warriors are the best PvE dps class but are also getting a PvE nerf and a PvP buff. The most versatile classes are Paladins and druids, followed up by Shamans since Shamans can't tank. Next patch Shamans get a buff to enhancement though giving a 30% damage reduction while in shamanistic rage which might make tanking possible for them. If you enjoy PvP alot the best classes  in my opinion is a Rogue, a Frost mage, or a warrior. For soloing the best classes are Huntersand Warlocks since they have pets that can take the damage for you. Between a Shaman and a Rogue a Shaman is better for soloing in my opinion since they can heal, and have a totem that taunts enemies into making them hit it instead, plus they can wear a shield and wear mail so they don't die as fast. well me and my rl friends are rerolling, ones a feral druid,prot war,mage (dunno spec), and i think a bm hunter... and im kinda confused on either hunter or frost mage, i love them both but idk >.<

can someone help me decide from shamen or druid i am going to get wow from ebay next week and im trying to prepare

Shammy's and druids are so much alike in their purposes it is kinda funny at this point. Right now i have a lvl 70 shammy and for quite awhile i used to have a 60 druid. Neither is better than the other, it all depends on the situation. If i had to recommend one to you it would be a shammy because learning to master the animal forms of druids and their benefits versus negative aspects is extremely difficult for most new players.


P.S. If u roll a draenei shaman on a PvP server you WILL get corpse camped more often. Plain simple truth.

Kill Bill :

Paladin is good as draenei ( nice low lvl racial heal ( endgame it sux ) REALLY cool armor / weapon look ) BUT
Humans have percepcion ( 3min CD but it makes rogues visable ( Dramaticaly increses stealth detection ) so u don't have to use consecration and their weap skill is nice and humas don't look stupid on warhorse ( free 40% mount that palas get ) as draenei XD

Draenei Shaman:People h8 them ( idk rly y ) but go Enchancement for faster lvl OR Elemental ( this is called right? ) for damage.But they DO rock real hard in pvp scince they have anti-fear totem ( easy beat best pvp class ( so it makes u vest doesnt it XD )),shocks can make mages go crazy...but rogues are hard for shammies

and professions u said : Mining  + Blacksmithing ? CAN ( doesnt mean MUST ) show good at 70 ( as DS LW can on 70 ) But scince is going to be your first char , do Mining / Skining or Mining / Herbalism , these are ultimate money makers , can sell real high at AH,and u will allways have nuff money for everything ( to buy armor from other BS or from AH , train scince pala trainings ARE REALLY EXPENSIVE )

I like rogue..as you may have seen in my other messages is that Rogues have the following:They're costumizerable, Have an AWESOME weapon range, tons of crit, ENORMOUS amounts of gold (Generally), the draw back is that you're dead, faced with a lock above level 42 They have death coil which tottally BLows you're whole game plain out the Window the same goes with hunters over 40 ESSPECIALLY A BM Hunter they have mail pet usually a nice bow Now a mage that does not have a level 70 mage Who knows what to do YOU CAN EAT ALIVE(only if you're an undead though)Same goes for Shaman They're good if you know what to do wth 'em same as Palladins,Warriors littel bit trickier ...they have all this crit stuff which is hard to beat and they have a TON of health which is another problem but if you cheap shot first (spell learnd at lvl 26)you can kill 'em THe one class that is neither hard nor easy is druid..if a lvl 70 knows what he/she is doing you're dead but if you know what you're doing..You've got a shot.Thats my experiance witt rogues anyway

well i found thx to people at thottbot that hunters are fun they can kill pretty much every other class and are very fast lvlers.

I think hunters r good twinks had a 19 twink hunter on barthilas (ihuntrogues) till i got hacked and it was lved 2 20 but i like enhance shammans 4 dps cause i can hit 1800 at lv 37 (not sure how much now) wif windfury and ravager from sm arms.

Rogue, Warlock, and Hunters seem to be the fastest and easiest to level.

FERAL DRUID FTW!!!!!!!!!!!! and here why  think that.rouges are notvery fun.....warrior why be a warrior u can be a warrior on your druid(bear form).... and also cat form for rouge for very good dps

i agree with u at some point, yet feral speced druids have some problems:
bear form: he may have great def and hp, but he cant block and cant keep aggro very well against multiple targets.
cat form: can sneak and attack from behind, yet they dont have poisons or vanish and they cant zap or stunlock.
normal form: ur mana runs out to fast cuz of ur melee spec gear adn u dont heal very well

Well i just got Joana's guide so I'm going to reroll horde.I don't know what to choose,Blood Elf Hunter / Blood Elf shadow Priest / Blood Elf mage. Never played these so,I want fast both pvp AND pve kills so which should I choose?Now YOU help ME :)))

OK here we go this is about a insanely hard class choice:

Rogue or War;
Rogue explanation: I beleive that stunlock is insanely cheap and if you sap first it will make them waste your trinket BUT I also hear that they have 2 classes that completely demolish them if they know what they are doing. Warlock and Warriors (if the warrior has trinket and knows what he's doing)

Warrior Explanation:
I hear that if the warrior knows what he's doing he can kill all classes with the help of either a druid or a paladin. Warlocks (beingthe best PvP class because of how many classes they can just demolish most of the classes) 2v2 i hear ownage.

hey guys just started playing wow an i got lvl 20 tauren warrior, but i was just wonderin wat class is best for pvp in later levels

okay...i have about 12 "mains" and i can't choose which one to stick with....i'm kinda leaning on the horde side, but i dunno. here are my basic choices for my main:

-Draenei critadin
-troll rogue
-troll shammy

if yall know any cool things i could do...it would be greatly appreciated.also my guy is gonna be on a pvp server

Assuming I get this for christmas, is a hunter a decent starting class? I wanted a druid but decided to make one later bacause they're hard and unique. I think a hunter would be a nice choice. Any opinions on this?
