someone show me a 29 frost mage twink build

I just rolled myself a mage, and was wondering on specs.  If anybody reads this, I'd like to go deep Arcane, but every build I've seen ignored Improved Arcane Missile ignored.  Is this just an end-game spec choice, or so most not take it? 

Right now I'm still bitty, but I spread out on the Tier 1s.  Any other thoughts on being able to build an Arcane from the ground up without wasting the gold on respect before I have to?

Check out the Armory profile for Baene, Sentinels server. I have a very viable raiding Arcane Spec. Imp Arcane Missiles is never taken because all it does is make you not lose channeling time when taking damage. A good Arcane mage would NEVER be casting AM at a time when they have a chance to take damage anyhow, so it is useless.

ive been an arcane mage from the start only respecing to take the few frost points out, and i have points into improved missiles. the reason is that i dont gain aggro in instances therefore making the few times that i do get agrro worth it anyway.. its easy that if you get aggro, press the down button- you stop casting, it isnt hard. the imp missiles help when killing outside and your getting hit your not wasting mana on the missiles because you get the full run of it, same as bosses that hit everyone, im not wasting mana. Thats just my opinion thought. although i have only been full spec arcane before, i love it and am not going to change it anytime soon.
i think mages are the best spec to be running with FC- slow the one doing the main damage to FC, freeze the rest, sheep one mounted, if you get hit- mana shield, slow then blink.
give arcane a go, you'll love the crits.

I have been arcane spec from my first talent point, which went into imp missiles. It may not be useful in every situation, but when it is, it's valuable, considering the rather high mana cost of AM. I don't know why so many mages ignore the higher arcane talents, I personally think they are great for soloing or party play.

can some one tell me or link me to a arcain spec it looks a like a lot of fun but i do not have much idea on what a good one is.

I'm Arc/Fire mage and i am 37/24/0 and i got 700 damage+ 10,6k mana and 7000 health. It is nice for BG and PvE but depends how you use it. you can look my spec at Wow armory

oddly i was frost for kara but that was just not to die since the tanks sucked at holding aggro and sometimes i could still pull as frost but normally u dont have to do this.

    Also for spell hit vs crit vs spell dmg i got for gear that benefits crit/hit on every item then i gem it out for whatever its lacking for example t5 robes i use 1 potent, 1 veiled and 1 nightseye then i get a set bonus with a minimal increase in crit/hit and since the gear already is for crit/hit it balances out with the spell dmg on the gems i think. Also no matter what spec you are there are talents for spell dmg people like to sound leet and say if u have alot of spell dmg you will have much higher dps but u know what? bullshit get your talent that increases spell hit chance and get like 50-100 spell hit i mean arcane has +10% passive hit so its a pointless stat for them for the most part but for frost/fire it has more of a use since they can only get like +3 passive. Still hitting the cap is like pointless just a waste of where you could have alot more spell dmg / crit. hope this helps someone btw no critic a player! a

does ice shards and spell power stack? or does ice shards cancel out the other?

They do stack to an extent it ends up being a +225% crit dmg instead of 250% since normal u get 100+ 100 from frost shards or w/e its called and the 50 is reduced from the arcane talent to 25%

Heh, I thought I was deep frost, but that 0/0/61 is deeper even than me!  I go 2/0/59 for the threat reduction with Arcane Blast, skipping the last point in Improved Blizzard and Winter's Chill.

The more usual L70 deep frost is to put 10 in Arcane to get Arcane Concentration for the mana reduction.  Personally I think it's better to get all the frost goodies and learn to economise on mana.

i like this talent build, maybe the only thing i would do diffrently is when you get to 70 you need artic reach no matter what unless you enjoy 8k dmg cleaves and make frost spells the cream of your crop.

now this next part is completly a personal prefrence, but i would drop Slow to get IB heres why

Slow- good in PVP above all else, and as effective in pve/raids
its still good  its just if your running a raid one of your other mage buddies may have slow already and your taking something important away from yourself.

Ice Block- good in all aspects of play. and you will also have Cold snap so you could have 2 IBs if need rather than spamming 2 CoCs. IB is a life saver in raids when you pull aggro leading to certain doom. If your guild is into raiding, this would be a must.

I have though of a build similar to this before but i would alter it if i may. i look at this build and it looks like you will be spamming frostbolt and have abosolutely huge crits. But you have a very low crit rate to make up for this.

i would drop the slow and 5 into Mind mastery- ouch i know, but get imp nova and shatter, the biggest crit combo known to mages. some of that SD you just lost from mind mastery has been made up with almost guarenteed crit and more survivability.

Well as of the next patch IB is trainable that is why I wanna keep it for now. Then get IV. Not sure what I want to do. I might move a few points around here and there.  I am just fooling around with some ideas. Thanks for the advice btw!

Im a pure arcane mage and i've been able to out dps 99% of peeps in my group. I've stacked crit gems in my sockets instead of hit at the moment due to the fact that once a spell crits then its a guaranteed hit, but have only just started looking into mind mastery and the spell dmg it gives from higher intellect. Can anyone help me with this...I know that +400 int = 100spell dmg with mind mastery....so is it worth me socketing any spell dmg gems or just dump them for int?
