Oh well... oppinions are like assholes... everybody got one ;-)
Her is mine (oppinion) with a little justification to your reply:
You DO realize that I said that he CAN be a little taller, but where is the sense in making him and other bosses so ridiculously huge?
You DO realize that I said that of course he should grow in size when in demon form.
Please DO realize that I would have been as annoyed of this size stuff in WC3 as well if the gameplay was ment to be RPG/Athmospheric and not the real-time strategy that it is. The troops are in any case all 1/4th the size of castles/buildings so huge hero classes didn't matter and only served the purpose of being easier distinguishable from normal troops. Technically, player characters are also Heroes and by this logic should than as well grow in size according to their level/equip/hp or so... would you like THAT?
I do not understand how I would feel different wiping on a small sized Boss than on a huge Boss. A Boss is a Boss and the little skull you see in his Level icon and his role in the lore/questline should tell you that it's a bad guy who deserves some respect and strategy.
Also: Don't you aggree that having bosses -like moroes- of the size they should be also makes a fight a little more challenging if they have abilities to run around, disappear, wipe targetting etc. Such a thing would also add a bit more fun to the game and would add a PvPish difficulty to PvE. This would then show the actual gameplay skill of the individual person rather than simply how he is equipped. Also it than makes PvP viable for pure PvE players to actually become interested in PvP and use it as a "training ground".
But back to the actual topic: This "every boss has to be at least 10 times the size of a player" stuff is just a stupid rule that sadly exists in WoW. Imagine how people would laugh at e.g. Star Wars MMORPG with a 20ft tall Yoda.
Also annoying: Why is Archbishop Benedictus so freakishly huge? He is a faction leader/boss, ok... but still a Human!
