ok guys im tryin to find a class thats fast at lvling but fun any suggestions??

Ummm i guess it depends on how you play but a frost mage might be pretty fast, because they have high(ish) DPS and also can AoE kill mobs with blizzard. The only problem is that you dont get blizzard until 20...

Every class has a different level rate. If you really wanna breeze to the max level, try out a rogue, not only do they gain level a bit faster, but they're easy to get used to and fun to play. Looking for something hard that takes dedication? Try a druid! They level a bit slower but have many different abilities that lets some excel at certain challenges. In the game druids are basically hard mode and rogues are easy mode, but it all depends on how you play.

    I play a feral druid, just hit 43, and i lvl faster than i ever did on any other character at this lvl, playing the same time every session, and i generally dont have rested on the druid while i did on the other characters i lvled...

depends even Joanas guide doesnt help u gotta be joana to lvl quick hunters are nb 1 coz they can solo almost ALL grp quests
and yes rogues can be nice coz of stealth(but druids can do same on lvl 20)for example get that item from that box

Yeah you may be able to sap but hunters can just medn pet and tank it of until uve opened it and im a 63hunter and hunters can level way faster tahn any other char i also ave a 26rogue and its so boring as ahunter compared to a rogue so i go bg for fuinn on rogue and lvl on hunter fun and a high lvl :)

I have a 70 rogue and a 70 shammy of those 2 the rogue was the easiest to kill the shammy is just plain fun to play if ur enhance =]

u must consider both the class and the talent spec, 4 example an arms/fury warrior usually get lvls faster than a prot spec 1.
yet u can allways reset ur talents

To the dude that said that frost mages are fast lvlers.....trust me they arent. And blizzard?!?!?!?!!? i never use that move when im lvling and mroe then one mobs come to me. Takes too much mana and thats y u Sheep one(CC). I think warlocks are fast lvlers but hunters lvl really fast.

id have to say hunters or lock only because u can make u pet take all the damage and u can heal them in batle which means no rest stops (or at least few) and you can take on multiple mobs at a time easy

the frost mage has alot of appeal
my uncle is running one on Alterac Mountains and he's spec'd fire/arcane

but the moment he can get the water elemental he's going frost.

So for leveling you want frost, but at first its slower and later [at 50] when you can get a pet its better.

I'm a BM hunter all the way I've leveled 2 to 40 and I always play 4 chars with a focus on profs over leveling

I've noticed my warlock friends seem to do higher damage and level faster, but they die alot easier when im not looking ^^

For me, my warlock leveled the fastest. 1-70 in 21 days. Hunter, 1-70 in 28 days. Now my feral druid is close to the warlock, at 66 now in 17 days. I solo quest alot, my server is tough for finding groups for quests. I can usually grind a level in a session with only 3-5 rested bars.

You will level faster if you pick a character you love to play.  That being said I have a few suggestions to help make the process faster.

Survivability is a huge part of being able to move from mob to mob without much downtime (and few if any corpse runs).  Healing classes are good for that so long as you manage your mana well (one of the reasons feral druids lvl so quickly is that you can pop into caster to heal yourself as needed).  Hunters have the same ability with mend pet. While other classes could use bandages OOC, they don't stop the corpse runs should you be overwhelmed. 

Of course, if speed is the goal, you should limit yourself to green quests (and green mobs if grinding).  You get no more experience for doing quests when they are yellow or red, but the difficulty will slow you down.  This eliminates the worry about being overwhelmed.  Two or three or even four green adds should be no problem for most classes that are geared to powerlevel.

Also, organize your quests so that you can do two or three (or more) in each pass out into the world.  Reduce the number of times you have to run back to town as much as possible.

Other factors that affect the speed of lvling are WHERE you quest.  If you quest where you know where to go and what to do, it will go much faster than if you go through a new area where you need to hunt down the quest objectives.  2.3 made questing a very fast way to lvl by raising the xp gained by turning them in. 

If speed is your only concern, then take professions that will not detract you from questing (my picks would be skinning/mining/herbalism) and don't go out of your way to lvl them.  Skin what you have to kill, pick what you come across.  Enchanting would work too, so long as you just DE your soulbound quest items and worthless drops and enchant only your own gear (as opposed to standing in a city for ages trying to find someone willing to let you enchant their bracers for nearly nothing). Enchanting mats often sell easier than most greens and stack nicely in your bags.

First aid is valuable if your character cannot heal himself.  Otherwise keep a stack of food with you to quickly get back to it. 

Buy the best gear available: it will make your fights quicker and you will take less damage.  You want to give your character every reasonable advantage.  Buy big bags so you don't have to run go sell stuff all the time or leave behind items that could be sold. 

Instances are great for xp, especially if you can do a few quests at the same time and can find a group where everyone is lvl appropriate to the dungeon (higher lvls notch down the xp rate and lower lvls make the dungeon harder than it needs to be). 

Elixirs/Flasks can make lvling faster by raising your char's stats/bonuses so you can kill more mobs per hour.  For instance, a melee class with an agiity potion will crit more... more crits equal faster fights.  Elixirs of Wisdom or Ogre Strength can benefit other classes.  Defense Elixirs mitigate damage some, thus reduce downtime.  Scrolls obviously give similar benefits.

All of that being said, this is a game and I would not find it fun to rush through it.  But if you are lvling a character to play with a friend or to join a group, then the suggestions above should help.

1. Hunter (BM)
2. Warlock (Affl), Druid (Feral)
3. Rogue (Combat)

Rogues and frost mages kill fast but if you drink once or bandage once from level 1-70 you have downtime.

Hunter, lock and druid need never buy food nor water and can kill without stoping.

Easily the slowest is priest for most the levels.

Well I don't agree there, hunters do lv the fastest, but affliction locks are imo!

Maybe but I was factoring in track as it may speed things up for a new player. :)

one thing people have not considered is that PETS have downtime. My hunter never gets dmg but the pet does, which makes for sad Chompy needing heals and low mana for Rotk(Jubie Thos)

An important note if you do choose a hunter, is not to be a mana junkie. I am, and for grinding/questing, all round shooting things, it gets very expensive on the mana drinks.

Pace yourself, yes it's a little boring, HOWEVER, not as boring as sitting there watching oyur pet lick itself whilst your guzzling down moonberry juice.

Ummmmm... I think hunter is the fastes lvler because you have a pet easier to do quest and mostly you dont die cuz you pet helping you out.

idk... i leveled fastest with a pally:). And it seems like rouge was the slowest to lvl up for me

From my experience, overall Hunter was quickest leveler.  Once my Shaman got duel wield, I'd rate Shaman next, just my opinion.

im very dissapointed in u. i would actually say that a frost mage can be very fast. and listen beforu u flame me. HUNTERS ARE THE FASTEST, YES. BUT! and i say but. a frost mage can AoE grind very many mobs at a time. and if u do this make it against lower lvl mobs! gather up some mobs about 2/1 lvles lower then yourself and kill them with blizzard. you will need improved blizzard for this.
im not saying a frost mage is the fastest lvler but they can be fast. and IMO frost mages is the funniest class to lvl.

Me and my freind had a contest who could lvl up the fastest i had a hunter he had a rouge all i know is im 22 hes 15 (he started 3 days earlyer than me) so...

BTW lvling faster is mostley done by sit go lvl and don't do group(s) quests and to much talking

No one beats hunter at leveling !I remember killing a +7 level mob with my hunter you can never ever do this with another char.

I have a 64 BM hunter and a 42 affliction lock. It is very hard to tell which one is the fastest leveler. The hunter kills stuff faster, especially with cooldown abilities like rapid fire and bestial wrath (although I usually save those for when horde think they can kill me) as well as steady shot, but all of those burn through mana and I have to drink after several kills.

My lock takes a bit longer to kill things, but with drain life, drain mana, spirit tap, and whatever it is called where you steal mana from your pet, I have absolutely no downtime.

Slowest is my rogue, I have to bandage or eat way too much.

people are saying but i'd go with a Retribution paladin. Always Have a good weapon and you can destroy. it becomes incredibly easy once you hit 20 for seal of command and just gets easier from their i recently started playing a pally
and i can slash thruogh thing my level in like 5 hits average
remember to use judgement when they are at about 10-20% health
it normally kills them.

On a different note fire mage can go pretty quickly. with 2 more great Aoes at their hands that can daze and disorient
they can get 4-5 guys on them and AoE them down Without taking
hardly any damage then drink rinse and repeat I got a level
a night easily until i hit 60 using this strategy.

meh i think frost mage everyone says hunter but i can pull 10-15 mobs while on my epic mount hop of ice barrier frost nova blink blizzard blizzard agian elemental if need frost nova blink blizzard blizzard cone of cold AE and dead by that time i have 100% health 0 % mana drink right quick do it agian

um... my hunter needs to buy food all the time and thats just for his pet.
