Now let's talk about raiding IF or SW, i.e. real raiding. Experience says it's between locks and hunters, rogues are out of the game too often, either dead or stealthed and awaiting CD on vanish. Mages are always targetted for quick kill. Warrs aren't bad surviving is everything. Locks aren't taken too seriously in real raids, big mistake by the enemy, and hunters just stay out of the way firing DOTS, arcane and aimed shot when possible, extra dmg from pet.

Fact is in real raids cloth is always targetted hard, locks have good ability to keep the dmg away and they (should) have loads of sta.

All the above assumes the allies know how to face a raid.
