I'm currently working on my first twink and I'm not sure exactly what is the best gear for a Shammy in the 20-29 bracket.
So far this is what I had in mind:
Head: Enduring Cap
Neck: River Pride Choker
Shoulders: Watchman Pauldrons (need other suggestions, can't find in AH & can't get them to drop in SM)
Back: Tigerstrike Mantle (also need other suggestions)
Chest: Raptor Hunter Tunic
Wrist: Barbaric Bracers
Gloves: Brawler Gloves or Wolfclaw Gloves
Waist: Moss Cinch
Legs: Troll's Bane Leggings (no longer Triprunners)
Feet: Harbinger Boots
Weapon (2h): Cobalt Crusher
-(1h/shield): Windstorm Hammer & Marbled Buckler

Umm for bracers u shuld get Gallan cuffs with 15 spell damage enchants on them (35 item level)! for weopn u need corpsemaker.
O and pants leather eagle pants with runic spellthread is awesome!!

you should probably go for any "of the eagle" pants, triprunners are the suckage, simply from the lack of ability to add a clefthide armor kit to them, which is a MUST for any twink at any level
why can't you add nethercleft armor to triprunners?
They are Bop, so you cant send them to a level 60 plus toon to make the attachment. the clefthide/nethercleft armor attachment req. level 60 to attach it, so you just do that, then send um back ^^
ah, i got it. see i thought armor kits could work like enchants through the not trading box. it's all good now though, i got the nether cleft & that kicked my 29 shammy up to 2,500 health :P
that list may be good but what about the level 20-29 arathi and warsong items? those are just a reason to call you twink they are all mostly blue items with good stats to get them from pvp {that is if you want to spend the time geting the MOH from each and the honor to back it up}
i didn't list rings because getting the pvp gear is a given for the rings...why would a twink not spend the time to get MOH's & HK...that's kinda the only thing a twink does
just armory patriarch and you pretty much have the perfect 29 shammy twink, just for a good reference point

since ur enhancement... get the dogtraining gloves (the ones off the dude in SM)

I am a shammy too but only have the following gear. where should I start to concentrate on new gear first?
head: cutthroat hat of the owl
neck: Kodobone necklace
shoulder: fleshhide shoulder
back: darktide cape
chest: ribbed breastplate
wrist: bands of serra'kis
hands: braidfur gloves
waist: deviate scale belt
legs: ferine leggings
feet: warsong boots
fingers: jet loop of stamina and agamaggan's clutch
spec'd enhance with:
5 ancestral knowledge
5 thundering strikes
5 flurry
1 spirit weapons
1 shammy focus
3 mental quickness
1 weapon mastery
3 lightning shield
Corpsemaker=very slow but hard hits sucks when you miss
Thermiplug's left arm=fast (for a 2h) and hits pretty hard and has more dps then corpesmaker
yea i wanted to get thermapluggs arm but i'm 1 bar from leveling & farming the last boss in gnomer when you're horde is a bit time consuming lol
