Having played for years twinks arnt really a problem it possible to beat a twinked player with a naked lower level char with some match ups. If you want to see this in practice take a level 18 Nelf hunter into WSG BM speced and send in your pet while you are shadowmelded playing around with this can get you well above half way on dam meters and you can be be very useful for flag spotting and marking.
A well played rogue between levels 20-39 often doesnt need anything more then the starting daggers to take on many opponents, I used to pvp naked with mine for a laugh between these levels and had few problems.
What has annoyed me in the past though is where some players link the term "twink" with "skill". Im not saying that having a twink means you lack any skill at all but if players were really skilled and wanted to show it they would fight and win using the most basic eq possible.
By and large though this isnt possible at low level as you dont have enough skills/spells/talents to have any real originality in playstyle.
If any twink beats you and starts boasting about it realise its just down to their insecurity and need to prove themselves then anything else :).
P.S. Oh and complain all you like, ever since twinks apeared nothing has really been done about them, and I doubt anything ever will, there are too many people who at some point get bored and make one, (though actually playing one struck me as completely lacking any challange at all and was the most boring experience WoW has to offer).
