I noticed that when you go to an item's page, for example, and it says that a certain person drops it at say 3%, the actual percentage when you click the person dropping it shows up at a muuuuch higher percentage like 10-50%. Does anyone else have this problem or is the percentage on the items page mean something different then from the listing of drops from individual persons?

ya i also had this problem a couple days ago....i went with what it said the monster dropped on the monster's page......not sure about it yet though cause i haven't done what i looked up yet =)

It would be useful to age the data so that as Blizzard changes drop rates and which mobs drop what, the tables here adapt over time. Older data should have less weight than recent data.

Example: Quest "Nothing but the Truth" (http://thottbot.com/q1383) used to require a drop from a Desolace Deepstrider giant, but the quest has changed to require whelp blood from the green whelps of Swamp of Sorrows. Thottbot hasn't changed to reflect this change in the game, so the Deepstrider's are shown as dropping the whelp blood, and the drop rate on the whelps is shown as close to zero. (I got the drop after about 6 kills.)
