Nobody raked in cash selling tons and I mean TONS of Fadeleaf? I guess my server is really Rogue heavy or something, because I'd run around Swamp of Sorrows and Stranglethorn farm about two stacks of Fadeleaf split it into mini stacks of 5 and sell each serving for 7+g depending on the market.

50+g for like 30 minutes or so of farming.

It all depends on the market and the herbs you are trying to get rid of.  Most of the low level stuff wont' sell for much but when you get into the higher level herbs and those that are popular for use there is definitely a lot of money to be made.
