Alrighty, i like humans cause of mace/sword skill right, but then i like night elf because of 1% to dodge and Shadowmeld, but idk which one to choose to be a better warrior?

so plz help me thx!

well the dodge make a diffences but shadowmeld is useless

human beter- human have more power about the spirint and +skill in mace and sword

i wouldent say shadowmeld is useless.
remember those things called Battle grounds??
if you dont care about looks, i mena at all, cause the cool looking plate sets will look awful on gnomes, i say go for it. but then again, you wont be using the int. but you also dont have to worry about frost nova, roots, ect...
my warrior is NE though.
and plus, they look cooler!

lol ya looks are alright, but all in all it looks you have all tied with each other on which is better, but human is alright for Spirt,staminia and strength, then again NE have +10 nauture resistance higher crit chance and 1% dodge.....so that is what i ahve found...so plz cast your votes again on which is better lol

Night Elfs ftw i use shadowmeld all the time its called shadowmeld charge they cant see you charge bam your at them and killing them before they even say you and if you dw like me they think your a rogue from far away and run lol

and undead warriors are the bane of warlocks, especially with the talent swap.

get right down to the  ablitys night elfs have hide why is this good? well becouse u can wait for a target to get in charge rang  and they wont even know......humans they can find night elfs and rogues basicly anything in hideing i pick human becouse i dont like questing and it gives u a fraction + I  like it but for the pvpers prolly night elfs...questers prolly human

Well, my warrior is NE, I can't tell how much i love shadowmeld near the flag or tower then charge + hamstring whosoever try soloing to cap my tower or flag... /wave /farewell to them. And i can't imagine myself as Gnome warrior fighting Tauren warrior that is 20 times of its size , LOL

I have to say iv seen a distinct lack of Dwarvish support here guys. Step up a bit!! lol dwarves look sexy walking around in their huge arse chunks of metal and all the spikes sticking off them lol they look like what every warrior wants to be when he grows up... A TANK!!! then theres their racial, no bleed, poison or disease and 10% more armour which at any level is a huge imprvement in the armour department. great for PvE and PvP. PvE cause theres so many DoT bleeders and poisoners out there i always use it and PvP cause any other arms warrior, some rogues and a lot of hunters get owned. Anyone wanna disagree well all i have to say is "MORTAR COMBAT!!!!!!!" ROFL

That is true, but so not fair (cuz I'm NE) that Taurens and Orcs are great warriors.  I find being 'War Stomped to Death' so humiliating on the BG. LOL  Dwarf make killer warriors too. We all have are racial specialties.

Everyone has their pros and cons...

Human Warrior - good Sword/Mace expertise boost, stealth detection, AND...this is very important...extra reputation bonuses per kill - meaning, your Human tank will get exalted with Aldor and get that Vindicator's Brand (very good introductory Karazhan tanking sword) much faster than your NE or Tauren will

NE Warrior - Shadowmeld Charge does rock, especially in PvP...more dodge means more avoidance means less stress on healers...and they can get back to the instance faster with Ghost :P

Gnome Warrior - Escape Artist is great for fights like Aran, if you are caught in an Ice Shackle...extra Arcane Resist helps too in some places...and it may be insignificant, but when leveling weapon skill, that extra 5% intellect helps a tad :)

Dwarf Warrior - Stoneform FTW against Moroes and other bleeding emergencies...expertise in Guns so you don't miss trying to pull something...+10 frost resist is good for SSC

Draenei Warrior - Someone said that Gift of the Naaru is neglectable, I couldn't disagree more...healer relief is pricelss IMO...Heroic Presence is key in melee heavy fights like Aran...extra Shadow Resist comes in handy if you're fortunate enough to get to the Black Temple :P

Orc Warrior - Stun resist is cool...so is expertise in Axes...and Blood Fury is not useless when tanking, especially against bosses like Curator during Evocation, and if your healers aren't having a tough time keeping you up, a 15 second aggro boost at the start of a fight can be exactly what you need (tack on Battle Shout and you're sitting pretty atop the threat meter forever)

Troll Warrior - Berserking is very underrated IMO...can be used multiple times during boss fights and increases your damage and therefore, your aggro output...Regeneration is nice as well...and don't discount the +5% damage to beasts, especially those in Zul'Aman...ranged (Bows) expertise is just another bonus to being a troll

Undead Warrior - like someone said, basically you've got another PvP trinket on ya every 3 minutes, meaning you'll never have to fear Nightbane or those nasty fearing Overseers in Shadow Labs ever again...+10 Shadow resist FTW in BT...can also use Cannibalize in Karazhan too :P

Tauren Warrior - extra Stamina, every Warrior's best friend...short range, short duration AoE stomp, not bad if you're about to catch a quick heal during a trash pull that might wipe you otherwise...+10 Nature resistance FTW in SSC and Hyjal...nothing wrong with a little extra Herbalism skill either for you Elixir spec tanks :)

So in summation, every race has benefits for Warrior tanks.  I just chose the Human kind cuz I like the starting area. :P

UUUM dwarf because they are leet and have stone form tiz ftw....

HORDE FTW!!! but if i had to choose an ally i would pick dwarfs cause they look awesome in gladiator gear. =P

but it doesn't matter who you pick that much, it all just about evens out at 70

I may be way off base but I would guess the O.P. is at least as concerned with looking good as being good, after all a short little guy all packed into a tin can looks much less cool than some straping buck the size of a barn door arrayed in shining plate; but i would rather win than look good.

If you had scanned the fora when they nerfed escape artist a patch or two ago, you would have seen the cry of pain of all those very skilled gnome arena warriors as their decisive advantage was slightly eroded.

If you think that alliance comes down to human or night elf you are limiting your build choices.
Dwarve's stoneform is a make or break skill when dealing with poison, which is every time you face a rogue.
Gnome's escape artist skill ought to be obvious for anyone who has ever been rooted or frozen into place.
I haven't found the human skills all that great. Faster leveling dosen't help me win any single fight, and the sword skill is great but it means you are pretty much going to only fight with the much more expensive (due to human warrior demand) swords.
As far as draenei, while the gift of the naru is great at the start, it dosen't scale with levels, so by the time you pass 40 it doesn't even deserve a spot on the hotbar, it just dosen't move the health bar anymore.
  For night elves, if you don't think shadow meld is a good skill, go hang out by a bombing station during a battle for halaa, watch those warriors pop out of the ether with a charge on some poor sap. It matters.

To the guy that said shadowmeld is useless, thats completely wrong, i mean, one of the best tactics in pvp if your fighting another warrior in pvp/duel or a caster is to shadowmeld right at the start of the fight, then charge out of it. and you can utilise this in otherways like running out of combat, shadowmelding then you charge again without interference then intercept and disarm etc.

tank->nelf
DPS->human
PvP->gnome.

The Human Mace/Sword expertise increase didn't update with the new patch. Please take a look and you will see that they are exactly same skill levels as all the other talents.
That being said, since humans have 2 worthless race adds I'd say Night Elf is by far the batter choice.
IF they update it properly then I would say human bacause I like the 10% Reputation increase.

I just love the shadowmeld charge for NE but I think it's worthless in PVE
I have a NE warrior in a PVP realm
and a human warrior in a normal realm
I like them both really not much of a diffrence

IMO, best pvp warriors are in this order

1. orc, Stun resist FTW!! I mean with propper talents in arms you have a 30% stun resist.  plus the extra AP is nice.
2. ummm prolly gnome, escape artist is also very nice.
3. Dwarf-don't underestimate stoneform against rogues, plus the armor can help around an extra thousand
4.have to go NE next, the dodge and shadowmeld is nice.

Now for tanking:
1. Tauren-hands down, at 70 that 5% will be nearly 1000 more health at END game raids.
2. Human ain't bad, but pretty much after this they're all pretty equal.

Orcs r the best and only option for dps warriors, dont waste time with alliance (no offense)

hahaha okay if you want to have fun pvping definitely go for the nelf  my and my buds (all nelfs) went n the coolest raid ever 

we where defending a tower in OL and when the big group of hordies came from their point of view it must hav looked like an empty tower free for the taking because every single one of us was smed  then like 10 warrs just charged and it was like the fastet battle ever like the first chargees died in like 20 second s because we had the upper hand.  lol

all in all i love nelf for warr but i gotta say im a dwarf man right from the heart always loved em.
