I don't regret that I choose herbalism because I can jump on my flying mount and gather every herb in Netherstorm and Shadowmoon and sometimes make 100g in one hour. Yes the 100g only happens those few times when you are lucky to get a fel lotus + the other herb, but even without a fel lotus I will be able to make 30-40g+ in one hour. I don't know if that is 'good' compared to mining and the other professions but I don't complain.

As a side note: If you have a lvl 70 char that can take out those big elite trees in Skettis, they can be harvested with herbalism after they die. They can drop high lvl herbs and often more than one of them. I once got 2 black lotus + 2-3 other herbs from one tree(I didn't even kill the tree. I just landed and harvested it).
