hi guys !!
i have a q what is the best talent to be a DPS and gets damage..(i mean crit)
My opinion, would definatly be balance, because when your in feral you either tank, or dps, and in moonkin with the 400% contribution from armor you dont nessesarily tank but u can take good damage, while doing spell dps, but maybe spellcasting just grew on me because im on dial-up connection modem and my comp is too laggy for rogues because 4 me, 400 latency is awesome and balance rox, feral is good too.

FERAL FTW :P
lvl 54 feral druid
i can grind on for hours without taking 1 brake (beside toilet ones :P)
i kill my own lvl mobs in about 15-20 seconds it costs 20% of my hp
i can own lvl 55 elites (not bosses xD)
if im low on health i just go normal form HT and back to CAT
feral is actually only good from lvl 20 cz bear form is 2 low dmg
thats my opinion, i dont say that balance sux but i just think feral is better
Wha..what?
1.Hunter
2.Warlock/Druid
Easiest classes to level with solo. Feral is easiest and fastest for druid. How on earth can you say druids dont solo well and balance is the best for leveling?
druid isnt underpowered lol
why do you think the best arena teams 2vs2 have feral druids in it? balance isnt better than feral, i hate mana breaks, i can kill mobs 5 lvls higher, i soloed yellow group q's i got crappy gear dont say druid is underpowered and that balance is better than feral cz it isnt!
druids arn't underpowered!
best 2v2 arena have feral druids
my druid soloes yellow group q
he soloes 6 lvl higher mobs
and you know whats the best? HES FERAL , not freaking BALANCE!

i would have to disagree as well. My feral druid is only a lvl 33, but already i can solo mobs of 33-37lvl range. It is super easy to solo, and my main is a lock so i know how easy soloing should be.

ok no way that most of the great arena teams have feral druids. Most of the best arena teams haev resto druids. feral is our hardest spec to play in arena. but it is fastest for lvling and u can kill mobs higher than u.

ok no way that most of the best arena teams have feral druids. most of the best arena teams haev resto druids. feral is are most underepresented spec in arena. but, feral is the fastest for lvling and u can kill mobs higher than u. but balance is perfectly capable of lvling just depends on play style.
woops added that twice lol
ill end this whole debate right now.
feral, balance, or resto....tier 6 armor and you will be just fine at whatever u pick. i personally went feral awhile to lvl up to lvl 50, then i messed around with the talents a bit. does suck buying all them sets though.
Well im 70 raiding druid i dps only dont heal dont tank that stuff so im balance why? because as balance you not only get near top dps if not first you can buff ppl around you
1. Moonkin Aura (casters will drop their pants for you for that 5% crit!)
2.Fearie Fire Improved! (+3% for all melee/range hit isnt that shabby when ya think bout the 10 or so ppl its buffing! not to mention the -armor!)
3.Innervate(as a balance druid you should need it unless you wasted alot of mana brezing someone or aoeing or just plain being idiotic, so make those healers love you!)
Thats the worst thing I ever heard, Druids aren't underpowered. I got two druids and I sure can quest alone. With my lvl 22 feral druid I got 1500 health(in cat form with dps gear, 2500 in bear with tank gear). I can solo most thing that my friends can't. And I don't have to ask for help on my lvl 70 druid, I never have. There is no reason druids are underpowerd. Do you even play a druid yourself?
I HAVE 2 SAY 1 THING....DRUIDS FTW!!!
Either way, druids pwn...
Moonkin are like casters in plate, albeit with a limited spell arensal...
Feral is awesome because you can either pwninate noobs in 3 seconds with cat or go toe to toe with things over your level in a who-can-last-longer-while-tearing-eachothers-necks-off-fight.
The biggest variable is whether you are being hit by melee attacks. With a tank, or against a slow (think fireball) caster, balance will do much more dps. However, spell pushback is deadly to a caster, so if you are soloing, you may have a hard time against mobs that use fast strikes and against hunters with pets. With a tank, you still have to worry about aggro. More often than not, a dps class (like a balance druid) will have more trouble keeping the damage down in a group than causing carnage.
In feral, your damage will be consistent regardless of how frequently you are hit because melee does not have any "pushback" type issues. Also, if you pull aggro in a group, your talents and gear (feral talents with melee gear) will allow you to go bear to survive AND deal damage (I know, balance has teh armor bonus, but most instances are indoors and pushback gimps damage)
Druid is a very underpowered class. The only chance you have to compete with other classes or even solo missions at your own level is to use the Balance tree.
Even with Balance, you will stay underpowered and weak until you get your Moonkin talent. Once you get that you'll be about even with the other classes of the same level.
If you pick any other talent tree you will remain weak and will have to "grind in the green" on every mission or get help.
Oh my god, you must learn to play a Druid first matey, i have a Level 66 Feral DPS Druid, i do the optional offtanking, but i mostly do dps, along side the rogues and my dps is 90% of the time second ONLY to the Rogue.
I have yet to need help doing ANY quests other then group quests, as in, has an elite or two to kill.
Druids are not underpowered, not as much as you are describing them, i think they need more scaling to make them more raid viable for Feral DPS.
Right now though all people see when they see a druid is a healer or tank, but never, EVER dps.
Anyway, Feral Druid dps is VERY easy and quick to level up, i wouldn't recommend taking on 2+ at the same time, but you can kill 1 and then move on to the next several times before needing to heal.
I have been killing and doing quests in Nagrand and i have yet to get killed by anything, beside elites.
I was even able to kill a level 70 mob the other day, so i am pretty impressed with that, i admit, i had to use HT 2 times to get fully healed.
Having over 7k health is rather costly to my mana pool.
instead of healing then going back to cat why dont you heal with then go into bear form? cat has more damage yes but bear has the same DPS but huge armor and health.
i dont think you really "OWN" lvl 55 elites when your lvl 54, im sure its not that easy.
no he doesnt own lvl 55 elites, he pounces them, mangles, bleeds them, maims them. Then rejuvy, regrowth, barkskin shape to bear fraerie fire to roar to mangle, stun to heal to finish them off in cat. That is not an owning process.
A.feral sucks balls for arenas

OMFGZZZ im feral atm but every1 is like OMFGZZZ GO BALANCE ITS WAY BETTER but seriously i own balance druids so much he got 20 health of me 20 FRIKKEN HEALTH . i was so loling anyway i have had alot of thought about the balance or feral thingy but seriously i no 25 lvl 70 druids (as friends) and they are all 80% feral 20% resto so u can kick ass in cat form when ur health gets low go barkskin heal urself fully then go back in cat form and kick some more ass i did that in bg 32kills 1 frikken death at 59 SO GO KICK SOME ASS FERALS :)
I am currently a level 65 feral/resto druid, mainly because i am leveling. However, I level from 51 to 61 in Balance and if i thought balance was better for leveling i would definatly go it, Balance is WAY more fun in my personal opinion. But, Feral as it's adantages in DPS and so does Balance.
For example, If you're in an Instance as a Boomkin, you are likely to take aggro from any tank that's not a level 70, even then i've taken aggro, but if your a boomkin, that doesn't matter, as you will have about 8k armor with all the equip from quests, along with a mighty fine amount of +spell damage.
However, Feral fairly owns teh n00bs. I managed to take 2 level 63 hunters without a heal at level 64. Me and my Rogue friend (he owns...) Managed to take 4 horde at once. One Priest, Hunter, mage and Even a lock. With feral you can easily get 1k mangle crits and probably even 2.5k Ferocious(spelling) Crits. Boomkin however, doing 2k with Starfire, Entangling roots, Treants all around you and Moonfire and Insect swarm = a very owned corpse. This being said, I haven't been Balance since leel 61 and i could have gotten a lot better equip making more than 2k Starfire crits.
At level 70, I plan on going some type of Balance/resto Druid. As I prefer balance because you do just own any n00b, even the occasional Lock.
All in all, It's all up to your gear and personal preference. As someone said before, If you have Tier 6, your gona be just fine
Darylk Level 65 Nelf Druid - Stormscale
ferla pwns at lvling
SUCKS MORE THAN ANYFUCKINSPEC IN ARENA.
its either resto or oomkin in arena, preferably resto
going to say boomkin is probly better for dps then a feral. mostly becuase u get the 400% armor from items like a bear and u ahve the ability to summon treants (that is if you get them)
when i cast wrath i ahve a 25% chance for a crit for 1.8k and i usully chain thme together for 1.8k a sec for 2-3 times (and i am a bit on the low side for +spell)...
u have less life then a feral might have but u have a higher killing potenial. tohugh they r a lot harder to lvl then a feral is. (i lvled mine balance from 1-70.. no easy thing)but as a caster u dont ahve to deal with mobs or other players armor value as much u jsut need to worry about resistance (counter with spell pen)and they r a bit mroe verstoil for healing and dpsing. i know i usulyl get sec dps in Av and third in healing in Av... Another tihng i like about them is the natures grasp talent which casts roots on any mele that hits u in the next 45 sec. which fun when a rogue decides to sneak up on you...
satako-horde. Black water raiders.
really it all depends on what you want to do
If u want to quest all the time and stick to yourself i would suggest speccing feral. Balance is ok for questing but if your not outdoors then your forced to wrath spam down the mob.
For raid dps Balance reigns supreme. Most raids are indoors but thats not a problem because its not like the mob will be focused on you in the first place, leaving you free to starfire and wrath to your hearts content.
Feral cat dps (in really good gear), is that of a poorly geared rogue (In full raid buffs i had 5k ap and i was getting out dps'd by the rogue in blues /respec ftw) though they are useful to have in raids because rogues cant battle res or innervate healers. Also in hard pulls where you may need another tank you can go bear and help lighten the load on the MT's
Lately Balance seems to be the more popular spec because of better gear and the talent revamp.
I have been raiding for over a year now and have tried out most of the build specs out there (one of my Fav's being dreamstate/resto) and am currently a 70 resto druid on Dunemaul (thekyle feel free to give me a ring)
