What happens when you get more than Honoured with Orgrimmar? I know that Honoured gives you 10% discount, but does Revered give you a 20% discount?? Somebody please tell me. =D

The way I do it is find NPC's with their "home city" as the rep u want. Under almost all NPC's it will say Orgrimmar or Darkspear, etc....
Just do all quests these NPC's give u. That is one way to earn rep.
You can also just do WSG over and over and over again. (For Orgrimmar). Doing this gives you Warsong Outriders, but you also get some for Org.
It's actually really easy to get our reputation up with ogrimmar, besides quests.
In the Alterac valley battlegounds, just gather a bunch of blood and armor scraps and turn them in. 100 blood=an easy 1000 rep with orgrimmar. Every 20 scraps you bring adds 10 orgrimmar rep as well, and armor scraps are easy to get so...do the math. It's slow, but then again, so is Undercity and such.
Anf for some reason revered doesn't do anything, or so it seems to me.
getting to exalted allows you to buy the mount of that faction. for example orgrimmar you can buy a wolf mount if you are not an orc.
This list is missing the Lazy Peon quest in the Valley of Trials.
As a 23 druid, it gave me 350 Orgrimmar rep and 350 Darkspear rep. It comres from Foreman Thaz'rill. The quest is on thottbot, just not in this list.
ok, seriously it's easy to get exalted with Org. I'm about 1,600 away and I haven't run RFC (for the Org rep quests) nor a score of other instances with +Org rep, nor any BGs. I also haven't run Break A Few Eggs yet, but really it's a trivial quest for me now at level 47.
So if you're going for the exalted status, and the only reward that you get with it, the wolf mount, just run the quests above. Doesn't matter what level you run them at since reputation point rewards NEVER change. Run the starter quests at 70 and you'll get next to no XP, but RP will jump by the amounts mentioned above, usually 75, 250, 500.
The same is true for Undercity, and probably TB, I just haven't bothered with TB since I don't really want a kodo mount.
Anyone know where I can find a complete listing of all the quests that give orgrimmar rep?
It is not a tree. Go over and read the inscription. It is the armor of mannoroth, a pit lord i warcraft 3 who was defeated by grom hellscream. That is also how hellscream died.
here is the link for the cini

I have a blood elf rogue, i wanted rep with org because i dont like the blood elf mount. I was 47 when i got the rep for a wolf, they are really cute! :)
Anyway, just do some quests, hand in some cloth, it easy. Tho if you want to get all the way and are in your 50's you may need to do some quests that just plainly get rep with "horde" as well. It's the same if you want rep with any of the other fraction i assume.
Good luck getting rep :)
I find the easiest way to get Orgrimmar is just turn in a gallon of blood in AV. For 5 vials of blood you get 75 rep with Orgrimmar. You can turn in 250 of these a game. A alliance enemy usually drops about 10 vials of blood.
not all the Orgri rep quests in swamp of sorrows are listed here;
both 'lack of surplus' and it's follow up 'threat from the sea' give additional rep. I'm not sure if it's always been this way but every part of his q-line gives orgri rep going from 250 to 350.
so if you really want a wolf (like me) definitely stop by the swamp.
i'm 999/1000 exalted... how do i get the last point? i've started getting reputation with "the horde" for completing orgrimmar quests.
I think it tops out at that. I got exhalted with a few places and it always stopped one mark away.
Exalted with Orgrimmar. Something I would like to achieve before level 40. Is that even possible? Meh. I just don't want a pink fluffy thing (aka 'Hawkstrider'). Basically, I just cleaned up all of the Crossroads quests, and I'm closing in on honored. This is at 25 ;). So, where should I quest next? I was thinking Ashenvale, although I'm not quite sure...
In addition, is there any point cloth gathering? How much reputation is rewarded for handing in stacks of wool/silk? And (I know it sounds nooby) is Alteric Valley available at 30-39 or 40-49? I'm pretty sure it's the latter, but I can only hope =P.
Well, thanks to anyone that decides to help =).
Mmkay. Revered =D. Cleaning up Shimmering Flats for experience now, then moving on to Desolace. Cleaning up the starter quests is definately the way to go, whatever faction you need rep with. I know that a slow but affective way is to turn in one of the Stormsprout (Am I thinking the right quest here? Well, the first one is Chen's Empty Keg.) quests continuously for 75 rep per turn in, 20 mins per 75 rep. Extremely slow, but it'll get you there =P.
Like a lot of Blood Elves, I too hate the Hawkstrider and am going for the Wolf mount in Org. I did the Keg quest and thought i read that it could be done over and over; However when i went to the Keg that spawns close to Camp T in the barrens, I was denied picking it up a second time.
I LOVE the Hawkstriders.. Riding an Emu makes you so cool :D
I'd like to know how much rep u get from the bundle of wool/silk quests. Can any1 please let me know? I'm having difficulty to get wool at the moment and I just want to know if its worth the trouble.
Thx for the advise
I turned in wool, silk, mageweave and runecloth today at lvl 70 and I only got 350rep for stack of 60 of each.
50+

As a Tauren druid with a want for a wolf mount, I made it my mission to get exalted with Orgrimmar at lvl 40. Maybe I started this personal quest a bit late- at lvl 39- because I kept unintentionally gaining levels. But I have done it! Just got exalted with Orgrimmar and I've also just hit lvl 42.
The only things I can really advise to achieve this is a very tedious task of going back and doing -every- quest that gives Orgrimmar reputation. This means just going through the thottbot (and wowhead) list and checking them off as you do it. Not to mention I did the wool, silk and mageweave turn in for rep too. But yes, it is possible to get exalted at around 40, but by the last few thousand points of rep, I was having to do quests that were actually made for my level, so I'd expect it'd be increasingly more difficult to achieve exalted at anything lower than 40.
I'm off to get myself a wolf mount!
ya i think i messed up ! like every one else i ran over and started working on org rep!
I THINK I should have stayed with my faction gaining the little bit of horde rep that gose with it till i hit lev 30! at that point it would be ezy and fast to do the org quests giving me little xp but all the rep that going with it
now i am lev 43 and i still need 2000 rep for ex how ever some of that xp was just becuse i couldnt get any more org quests till i lev kinda sucks oh well i will know next time
I think this list needs updating. Have done 3 or 4 of them that are listed here up to the lvl of 20 and didn't get 1 Org Rep point
I am a BE rogue and I just made exhalted with Orgrimmar at 41. I think I could have done it at 40 by not making the mistake of doing quests which give no Ogrimmar rep, but to be honest I can't see how you can get there before 40.
The best way that I see it is to start in Durotar as if you were a baby Orc and level up through all the Durotar/Ogrimmar and Barrens quests till you are around 20, then press on to Stonetalon and Ashenvale. (Don't do the other starting areas...UC, Silvermoon and TB starting areas give no shared rep at all.) Having done all the quests you can there and I think all will give you some Og rep with the exception of the Blood Elf at Sunrock...don't do hers whatever you do (I made the mistake of thinking I'd get some shared rep from her).
Following that I went to Silverpine and did all the quests there and got rep from everyone at The Sepulcher. Then I went to Tarren Mill and did all the quests there (and got rep from all of them). I was then high enough to go to Hammerfall and got rep off all of them. I did some UC quests by then and checked back at Ogrimmar toget the cloth hand ins...don't do the other faction cloth hand ins...you get xp but no Og rep. I went to Ghostlands and did the higher end quests from there and got shared rep...I forgot to kill the 2 elites so I don't know whether they give any shared Og rep. After that I went to Desolace and did quests at Ghostwalker and Shadowprey...except again I made the mistake of doing the Centaur faction quests which give no Og rep at all. I also went to Dustwallow Marsh...now thats a bit dodgy rep wise. Theres an orc there who has the Black Shield quest chain. He gives no Og rep whatsoever...which again I found out by doing them. You might give him a miss. I don't think the Ogres give rep either, though you might risk trying one or two.
By then I did the two Orc given quest chains at Grom'gol in STV and followed on by a couple that I could do from Kargath in the Badlands. I ended up at Stonard and got to Exhalted by doing a couple of quests there. I found out that just about all the goblins give Ratchet or Booty Bay rep but never horde faction rep.
As I said...by leaving out the BE at Sunrock retreat, the Black Shield orc at Dustwallow and not doing the Margram/Gelkis quests in Desolace, I am sure I could have made it while I was level 40. I am certain though that these guys on the forums that tell you they are like 26 and nearly Exhalted and not Orcs are talking out of the back of their heads.
It takes hard work to get there for sure, but it's nice to have your wolf mount...not quite as nice as having your frostsaber mount, but grinding for that is a whole different ball game!
Incidentally, I also became Revered with all the other factions doing this and so close to Exhalted with Undercity that a few UC missions carried me over before I got to 42. Now I am 45 (this part is added a week later) and I am 18500/21000 with Silvermoon, 17400/21000 with Thunderbluff and the same with Darkspear Trolls and also Revered (just) with the Horde.
Anyway good luck with your endeavours all!
Voted for the previous post as it's awesome. Indeed, it appeared to be a good idea time-wise as you save more time and get more reputation points by just doing all the areas listed in the post other than check every quest with thottbot. Of course, not all the quests give much Org rep, but every quest does give multiple faction rep = Org, also you waste less time on travelling so personally I found it the best way for me. I am level 60 DK so almost no measures for me in quest level caps in Azeroth, but I am still doing quest in Tarren Mill, haven't even gone to Arathi Highlands yet, and I am 11280/21000 already. Took me three evenings in total to get to where i am now.
Having been a 71 mage who was already revered with orgrimmar from doing most of the quests level 30 and onwards, i came back to find out i could only really do the quests pre level 30 and only got up about half way through revered and running out of quests to do, as you get higher up and try to do level 40-50-60 quests you'll find they have you running all over the place just to get a mesely 350 rep..
Take my advice, DO the alterac valley blood turn ins.. I hate PVP as well but you just go in, stick with a group of about 20 hordies, and just loot bodies as they drop.. I was 71 so i couldn't kill many but i was getting 15-20 killing blows per a session just for fun, i'm up to 3k honor points too! either way, I made up 5k orgrimmar honor in about 30 minutes.. waaaay faster than questing.. Just collect about 100 blood and run back to the cave by your base and turn them in.. 75 rep for each 5 blood, also way better than the runecloth rep turn in which is the way i was GOING to go. AV is definately the fastest way if you want to grind out that last rep you need.
Is this really the best place to put all these comments, just in the search name "orgrimmar"?
Srry about this comment :(
I'm only a level 23 (blood elf) what is the fastest way to get a wolf mount from them besides quests?
(I know I have to be exalted with them)
