Teldrassil=lvl 1-12 zone Darkshore=lvl 12-20 zone Ashenvale=lvl 20-30 zone Stonetalon Mountains=20-30 zone Feralas= 40-45 zone These areas also contain some quests that let's you increase reputation with darnassus ,but they are not as good as those listed above: Desolace=lvl 30-40 zone Felwood=lvl 45-55 zone Tanaris=lvl 40-50 zone Winterspring=lvl 55-60 zone Basically to increase reputatiom with Darnassus do quests in: KALIMDOR!

If you go to Feathermoon Stronghold, there is a guy at the top of tall building. He sells a backpack looking thing and seeds. If you combine the seeds with Un' Goro soil it will give you a random herb. I have gotten a few marrowgrain this way, also other various herbs.

Ok.... here is the low down on farming Darnassus rep. Like most of you I started farming Darnassus rep at lvl 1. This is by far the easiest way to do it, but not everyone plans this far in advance. If you are a lvl 60 just starting good luck. To be able to turn in Runecloth you first must do the turn ins of Linen, Wool, and Silk. Then you can do the repeatable Runecloth turn in. It will cost you a ton if your server is like mine (close to 2g a stack). At lvl 60 each turn in of a stack of Runecloth will earn you a total of 50 Rep for Darnassus. You do the math, thats a lot of Runecloth. For those of you trying to get the Darnassus mount for lvl 40, you will have to buy gold or farm your butt off to do this, it is near impossible. Consider getting your racial lvl 40 mount and farm your own Runecloth to save some money. The morrow grain quest is another way to farm rep, but my experience has been that the drop rate (using the Un'goro soil + the bag + the seeds) is a very low rate. My recommendation is that you just spend your time farming Runecloth. As it goes for the Mounts people can buy them for you, they are BOE. The problem is that you need to be exhalted in order to learn to ride it. Training for another mount (horse, chicken ... etc) will not do. Do use your new Darnassus mount you MUST be exhalted with Darnassus. Good luck to all wishing to earn the Darnassus mount. If you have any further questions PM me on Firetree (gnomeone).

I've spent the whole time since I made my warlock questing for darnassus rep. Level 26 and 3k into revered already. I've done every quest from Shadowglen through all possible quests in Ashenvale. Getting to Exalted isn't hard if you just have a load of time on your hands to quest. It's also the fastest I've leveled a character yet.

I am a Human priest and achieved exalted reputation with Darnassus at level 35.
This is my first WoW character so I started by doing all the Stormwind quests around my starting areas, through to Duskwood - did almost all of them probably but was honoured with Darnassus at this stage. I then did every single quest I could find in Teldrassil, Darkshore and Ashenvale and also handed in my allotment of wool and silk to the cloth quartermaster. The grey quests are not advertised with any kind of exclamation, instead hover the mouse cursor over the NPC and if there is a quest you will get the pointer change to a speech bubble. It took around 24 game hours to do all of them and it also gave me a chance to grind up my professions and other skills. Please note that after latest patch GAINING OF REPUTATION HAS CHANGED !!!!!! From now on you can do all of the quest of the faction you want to become exalted with, if u haven't done them allready ofcourse, you will always receive the maximum reputation that you can get as you turn in quests. WHETHER YOU ARE LEVEL 1 OR LEVEL 60, it really doesn't matter anymore. Getting 250 reputation or more per quest is normal. So : GO TO TELDRASSIL GO TO STARTING-ZONE NIGHT ELVES DO ALL QUESTS AND GO TO DARKSHORE - ASHENVALE - STONETALLON - FERALES You will now be EXALTED and can buy an epic mount of the other faction. Runecloth and Morrowgain still exists but are NOT needed to hit exalted. TY for reading, i'm not joking in 48 hours from friendly till exalted with human pala lvl 60. And got an extra 30 gold in rewards.

So far im on a mission to get the cat mount by level 40, at level 2 i had a mage port me to darn and i did all the teldrasil quests, i did all the darkshore quests and all the BFD quests, and im in the process of doing all the ashenvale quests, also something i did not realise is that the dranei quests also give darn rep, so im probably gonna head over there and see how much rep i can get. I also so far have done only the wool cloth turn in. I am currently lvl 26 and im 9300/21000 in revered. I believe getting exauled by 40 is possible now after patch, im just gonna have to see where my rep is at after ashenvale.
But the trick to getting darn rep is to do all the elf zones (Teldrasil,Darshore,Ashenvale) at the lowest possible level to get the full rep, do the dranei quests that give darn rep, all the BFD quests, most of these quests give darn rep, i know theres 1 quest that gives like 850 rep (350 rep 1st part, 500 2nd part), and also make sure you do the quests in stonetalon, theres only about 3 of those though, and the quests in desolace, as well as the cloth turnins wool/silk/Mageweave. This should get you exaulted by 40, im still testing this out so ill update when im 40.

Ok..first off I saw NO ONE MENTIONED that HUMANS get a racial rep gaining bonus of 10%. So any human will gain rep faster than other classes.
RE: CLOTH Turn-ins once you are lev 20 you can turn in 60 wool (3 stacks) to the cloth quartermaster in Darnassus. You get a chunk of XP for this as well. Then at lev 30 you can turn in SILK (3 stacks again). Then lev 40 you turn in 3 stacks of Mageweave. Gaining rep and XP for each turn-in. you can only do each of these turn in's ONCE LAST, you do a 3 stack turn in of RUNECLOTH once you are 50, for rep and XP again, but then after that, you only need 1 stack of rune cloth per turn-in for as long as you want till exaulted. RE: Final point of EXAULTED You can't. You dont even need the first 999pts either, but since that last bit only takes a couple more turn-ins, better to do it now then get the bad news that one day a patch changes things. RE: Quests Since things have changed in the last couple months reguarding rep for quests (as of May 07) It appears much easier to get rep to exaulted than when my char first started. Who is 41 and only 1/2 way though honored :( I started in Teldrassil as soon as I could and did all those quests, Darkshore, Ashenvale, and Stonetallon. As well as the HOLIDAY quest for the LUNAR FESTIVAL gave rep with all the main Ally factions. It was equal to one turn in of a stack of Runecloth. I think it was 75 rep for each of the ancient coins I picked up. (spending them was not necessary, just visiting all the guys with the moon beam over their heads got me the rep) I am not able to turn in Rune cloth or Morrowgrain yet since I'm not 50, but I will be patient and look for other ways to build rep. RE: to start MORROWGRAIN quest I think the quest actually starts in Ungoro Crator probably at Marshal's refuge. I believe you need to be 50 to start it. But it tells you to talk to someone in Darnassus. Not sure if it's the druid trainer you go to, or if it's the guy outside behind the tree, but either way, that guy will then ask for you to turn in like 20 ungoro soil. (brown piles all over the crator). Then after that, I think you just go to the druid trainer in the tree to buy the pouch (90s) and the seeds (9s each) (that is with honored price) and then you are done. RE: HOW TO GET MORROWGRAIN put your cenarian herb bag (that you get from the druid trainer up the tree in cenarian enclave) or whatever it is called on a hot key (that is what I do) and then you will need 1 seed and 2 ungoro soil for each try. It basicly grows something from the seed and you get a type of pod that you click on to see what is inside. It is various herbs and sometimes Morrowgrain. All in quantities of 1, 2 or 3. You can only cultivate once every 10 minutes. So I just keep clicking whenever I see the cool down is up. I heard a rumor that if you are an herbalist that the chance of Morrowgrain received is increased, but I have no facts on this. RE: Darnassus vs Feathermoon In darnassus, if you turn in the morrowgrain, you get a bag with various potions (most to me were lame) and 75 rep. If I recall the turn in at Feathermoon you got only 25 rep, but also got 10 more seeds (about a 90s value). I'd rather pay a few extra silver for the seeds and get the rep by turning in to Darnassus instead. [b]I hope this helped someone in some way, I know when I read a post, if I can't tell right away what the point is, I skip it. I thought dividing out by paragraph and using bold text would make it easier.

Okay, I am doing the whole darnassus rep grind to get the kitty mount as well (currently at 12000/21000) and have done all the Teldrassil quests and most of the darkshore quests.
I am a 40 human warrior, and don't think I'm going to have too much trouble - from my count using thottbot, I have 1350 more darnassus rep to get in darkshore (bringing me to 13350) then there is 6350 darnassus rep to be gained in Ashenvale (bringing me to 19700), and another 1500 to be gained in BFD (for a total of 21200, or exalted at 200/1000) Granted this is with the human rep bonus and having done all the human quests and instances up to STV... but all in all not too difficult. Oh, a note regarding those who were annoyed when they got less darnassus rep than expected in the Draenei starting islands... as I understand it, with the advent of Burning Crusade, Blizz has rep scaling by level (meaning the higher level you are, the lower rep reward you get) only for those quests in the Draenei and Blood Elf starting zones... something about not wanting a ton of high levels invading the lowbie zones to grind rep, ruining the experience for those starting a D or BE character. They left the pre-BC race lowbie zones at full rep gain, though... it's just the new ones that have scaling.

Hopefully this overview will help someone to see which quest chains to do.
This is my experience of going to Teldrassil as a level 60 dwarf shadowpriest. Two hours of work, just getting every quest I could find and gaining massive reputation (I love the fact that even level 1 quests give the full rep reward). If this area doesn't get you to Exalted then go to Auberdine (Darkshore) and do a bunch of quests there, it should be enough unless you have stayed on the eastern continent your entire levelling career and have absolutely zero Darnassus reputation (that would be bad, in that case go to Ashenvale after Auberdine). Quest names followed by (X) show that the quest is part of a chain where each quest is called the same name, hence the numbers to show how much reputation each step of that chain gave. Quests are listed in the order I turned them in. I hit exalted at lvl 29 on my warrior today, Im happy about it... It did take a little help from my brother to run me through BFD for a few quests, but other than that its easy to do alone, just quest from Teldrassil - Forest Song and your set

Here are some quests in the draenei areas that give darnassus rep. If you are wondering how I set this up, it shows the quest name, the reputation gotten from it; another quest, that quest's rep amount...
Azuremyst quests- Reclaiming the Ruins, 250; Rune Covered Tablet, 10; All That Remains, 250; Warlord Sriss'tiz, 500; A Cry for Help, 250 Bloodmyst quests- The Way to Auberdine, 250; Nolkai's Words, 250(for this one you must complete Artifacts of the Blacksilt and right-click the Weathered Treasure Map you get from that quest, or you will be unable to right-click the book in the northern part of the Ruins of Loreth'aran); Restoring Sanctity, 250; Into the Dream, 250(after Restoring Sanctity is completed); Razormaw, 500 I would say Rune Covered Tablet is definitely not worth doing, while Warlord Sriss'tiz is easy and gets you 500 reputation. Razormaw will be quite a bit harder if you're at a lower level. He's a 20 elite flying above Wyrmscar Island, highly populated with Veridian Whelps and Broodlings. I hope this little guide to more reputation points helped, it sure did for my mage!
I've posted this on all the factions. I got exalted with all 5 factions twice. What u need is the splash rep. that u get by doing the quests BEYOND THE 2 STARTING AREAS of each faction. So for Darnassus, do the quests from the start, and then all those areas that are lvl 11-40 quests DO ALL THE QUESTS!! By 40 u'll be exalted with Darnassus and usually another. If u want to be exalted with all 5, just go back to the their starting areas and do the quests. U DO NOT LOOSE REP for being lvl 40.

I've been honored with darnassus for about a week now. I'm a half a bar away until the stage before exalated. I usally do 10-20 quests a day, that is good. I get frusterated when I'm stuck in the middle of a quest. I usally just go to this website and type in the quest name, but sometimes it just tells me the descriptsion and the rewards. I know the description/objective tells me, but not clearly enough to figure out.. I'm still stuck on one quest, all my friends have the saber except me, flamebites natiandal malyia are willing to help me on this, but for now, i'm helping myself for the Exalation.
Start in Shadowglen. Go on in outer Shadowglen (teldrassil). Go to Darkshore. Then Ashenvale. There are 2 other places for the exalation but i can't remember the names. BTW, Dranei quests give the darnassus increasing to so try it. I can't go to dranei lands because I don't have the expansion yet, but my mom said she would get it when i reach lvl 50 or 60. Yay! alright, so im a gnome rogue and i REALLY did not want to be running round on one of those chickens.. what i really wanted was one of the night elf tigers. i had read that if you do all their beggining quests you have it in notime.. well they were lies. i hit lvl 40, and i still needed 5000 reputation left to gain. the second i hit submit charachter i started running thourgh dun morgough, modan, and the wetlands. i made it there on lvl 2.
i did every quest on the tree island thing, then did them all in darkshore, then to ashenvale, then to stone talon and i started feralas and was 40 without my tiger. and i even turned in the donations. except the runecloth cause i wasnt 50. anyway, i had to get the chicken until i am now lvl 46 and i love it my tip for the person who wants another mount and aren not a human. would be to get to like 35-37, then go to the place you want and do all the quests. (the side perk is it wont take very long becasue your already really high for most of the quests)you should get it early cause normally you will alreadybe honoured with them be casue of the side expirience. i dont know how long this will take, but its just what i would do if i could do it all again. good luck with your mount. Very possible on a human to get the rep to get a kitty mount at 30. Just got one on a Human priest who is 6 bars into 30 right now. Did all the quests in the NE starting areas, darkshore, Azuremyst, Bloodmyst and some of ashenvale plus BFD quests

Just got a level 31 Draenei Warrior exalted with Darnassus, so it is really not difficult using this quest list as a guide.
Basically, I did all of the quests for Blood/Azuremyst, Teldrassil, Darkshore, and most of Ashenvale. You also have to keep in mind the quests that arent obvious, like very low beginner quests, escorts (narcoleptic druid, mist the cat, and the nelf girl on the island off Azuremyst), drops that start quests (the rare moss timbeling in Teldrassil), and even the cooking quest in Dolanaar. Very easy and quick to do these around mid-20s. Also turned in cloth: wool and silk (too low for the others), and I did the quests in BFD. Another thing that helped out was Children's week which gave a lot of rep across the board for a very simple quest (and a cute little pet pig). Im not sure if any other holiday quests gave me any rep, but I dont think I did any more.

Ok the best way (according to me) to farm darnassus rep is to just do all the quests, no matter what level u are, the experiance is nothing but the rep gain does not drop even if ur 70
so just run around in teldrassil and tha other kalimdor low lvl places and farm your way with quests, most quests gige 150 to even 350 or 500 rep, good luck farming runecloth or morrowgrain for that Re: Darnassus by Amunet458, Score 0.00
I am a human rogue and wanted to have a cat mount. I headed over to Darnassus at level 8 and started in the NE starting zone. I am now level 18 and turned revered last night. I JUST starting questing in Ashenvale. My goal was to hit exalted by level 30—which I know I will. Blizzard just released 3.2 that peeps can mount-up at lvl 20—don't think I'll gather 21k of Darnassus rep in two levels. Haha.
Darnassus - Darkshore - Ashenvale (that's all I've done so far) Going to head back to Bloodmyst and Azure to get the lowbie Exodar/Darnassus quests before hitting up Ashenvale just to squeeze every little XP out that I can.
just got exalted few hours ago with a friend of mine we been trying for 2 days 15 hours to get it before we hit 30. we hit 29 and had 1500 to go few quest in Stone T and the sabers are oursx =) so many rep quests.
Screen shots soon when i can get them up with us at 29 Gnomes on striped and nightsabers.
Congrats on doing it at 29!...I note that at least one is exhalted with Silverwing Sentinels...I guess that means u did it partly thru BGs?
