I am a level 46 Shaman and I got a few questions to ask cause right now I kinda suck...
1. What stats should I raise with gear? I try to get a balance of everything but I dont think it works very well.
2. What weapons should I use, right now I am using Curved-Bladed Ripper and Gutwrencher, but I dont think it works very well because I only every hit a maxiumum of 400.
3. I currently WF both weapons, is this the right thing to do? If not, what are good weapon buff combo's?
4. I have ALL my points in enhancment, is this the right thing to do? If not, what talents should I put them on?
5. What are some strategys on taking on multiple things? If there are any more than 2-3 things attacking me its a certainty death, what can I do to stop this?
6. What spells should I be using? I've taken totems/spells out of my action bar that I never use like purge and magma totem, what totems/spells should I be using?
If you wanna check me up on armoury too see my crap gear my char is Doombeat on Frostmourne.
1. the stats that a shaman should be thinking about are. str/ap. stam. int. agi/crit. and hit rating at later lvls
2/3. the weps a shaman should use should be slow weps... weapons with the speed of 2.6 is best... but a combo of 2.6 and 1.8 works good to..... dual vielding with WF/WF works best with weps 2.6/2.6 speed.... but then again weapon imbues work differently for different players... i'm dual vielding 2.6/1.8 WF/FT and that works pretty well for me atm. the thing with WF is that it has a silent CD... so if you have a fast OH and use WF on it you block MH procs on WF.....
4. puttin all points in enhance at that lvl is good..... my speck is 1/46/14 if i remember correctly. at least 13 points in resto is good at lvl 70 since it gives a 3% hit chance
5.taking on many mobs is hard for a shaman... the only thing you can do at this lvl is drop a stoneclaw totem and nuke away on the weakest target first... later on at lvl 66.... earthen elemental will fix this problem for you
6. main shaman spells i would say were stormstrike/earth shock/frost shock/LB/CL... now purge is a good spell..... very useful... and basicly all totems serve they'r purpose exept windwall, sentry and some..
good luck and have fun

Gear wise go for +attack power, Str, Crit rating, Agi, stam, Intel, +spell damage. In that order. Basically you will be gearing like a mail wearing Fury warrior.
Weapon wise is if your DWing slow weapons with WF/WF or a slow MH and a fast off hand with combo if WF/Rockbiter or Flame. Personally when I was enhancement I never took DWing cause in a group and PVP I used a big 2 Handed axe or mace and Solo I use a 1handed mace and a shield. (Also when dueling a warrior type class I used the shield 1h mace combo for the extra armor so I can keep pace better.) But those choices where mine and I tested for my self and found it to be best that way than over DWing where your wf proc can go off on the wrong hand and cause only half damage. Persoanlly I would rather swing once hit for 1000ish and have WF proc and do another 1000+ damage in like 3 seconds compared to a few messly 100-500 hits.
Totem wise its your choice. Just find what works the best.
Main stats: Strength, AP, Crit, Agility. Not in any particular order.
Always take strength over AP unless the difference is huge. This is because Strength will always give you more AP when you have Blessing of Kings active. 1 str= 2 AP, 2.2 with kings.
NEVER use a 1.8 speed weapon. Green 2.6 60 DPS greens at level 70 out DPS the Merciless 1.8 and faster speeds. WF/WF every time.
Crit rating gives us .045 crit per point, Agility gives .04, so even with Kings crit rating will out weigh agility, unless you can stack far more agility than crit rating.
Int is not an issue for us. Shamanistic Rage almost garuntees a constantly full mana bar.
Hit rating is of very low priority. We can stack 9% from talents, no other class can do that. That hit caps our special attacks, and 100-110 hit rating is really all you'll ever need. I'm currently rocking ~140 without paying any attention to hit rating on my gear and I almost never whiff.
I would say a way to take on multiple non-elites that has worked for me as a mostly enhance shaman is: Round 'em up and drop a stoneclaw totem first, fire nova second. from there you can do a lot of things, just melee/shock 1 at a time, or step back and chain lightning then melee.. or drop magma totem. I realize this sounds mana inefficient, but with all the skills and talents geared toward mana saving/regeneration (ie: shamanistic rage/revamped watershield/shamanistic focus) it shouldnt hurt you too bad in the big scheme of things. Besides, if youre taking on multiple mobs you should be expecting to spend more mana anyways.
BS!!!11!!1! u should use a slow main hand like 2.6+ and a really fast off hand suchas a dagger or fist weapon. put windfury on main hand and flametounge on off hand and u dont have to worry about weak wf procs. check me out on armory (this is posted when im 49)
Darkcoco 49 shaman, Executus
Windfury does have a hidden CD.
im a 70 shammy DWing Ceds cavrers 1.80 speed dagger n THEY PWN with WF/WF just stack Ap n AGI/cit stuff i do bout 399MH n 145offhand but with WF ap thats MH 700damage OH 400+
SHAMMYS PWN ALL
I duel the gladiators right/left ripper from the pvp vendor in org, with duel potency because mongoose is bloody expensive... and with 2.6 weapon I have WF, supposed to proc every 6 seconds to with 3 swings you have 7.8 seconds to proc.
Off hand is 1.5 weapon with RB or FB cuz I don't need to have 2 weapons that are chasing WF... with RB I can get bonus every hit with offhand.
I only have about 5 epics including weapons and I haven't had the chance to go in Kara or anything past. I always hit for 1300-1500 and can crit faster with SoE and GoA totems. With hourglass of the unraveler and other trinket... pass 600 armor for 20 sec... I can go from attack power 1000 to 1700 with ease and don't have to lose a WF and is waiting on the offhand.
But I guess that just the way I'm getting used to it.
I was wondering with the NEW up date 2.4 Sun Well, they gave Enchance shamans a upgrade with Toughness, now it give 10% Armor AND reduecs how long slowing effects by 50% (5 talant points in there) Whow chuold i spec ? Becuase i also want the talent in resto called Natures Guidance (3% chance to hit with melee and spell)
