im a 70 druid with 365 LW and 375 skinning im scryer as well and im EXTREMLY dissapointed in the crap Bliz is coming out with LW im thinking about droping either LW or skining to get enchanting due to the high drop rates of "green's" in OL is there anyone out there that can tell me why i should stick to LW???

it's one of the easiest professions to get the lvl up. but i must say that there is heaps of people say stuff over general chat like "enchanting ......... for 20s your mats." so there's probably a lot of pontential for enchanters otu there. but its all up to u.

i think blizzard should make it that u could disenchant epic stuff at like 300 enchanting.

I am at 360 LW. Primals on my server are going for 15- 20 gold, except for earth, going for around 5/6 G.  All my newer recipes call for numerous primals.  I can sell the primals for at least 4 TIMES more than the item I craft with them.  I am not even bothering to make any new leather stuff.  Whats the point of losing big money to get a point in LW so I can make more stuff that will lose me more money! LOL

I am only a 180 LW, but I am making quite a bit of gold on my server. The problem is, like you, I have a hard time getting the elementals and, like you, have resorted to trying to purchase them cheaply from newbies who don't know what they are selling. LOL.

Got a batch of water yesterday but couldn't get earth at all so I went to the Arathi Highlands and beat on the elementals for about 15 minutes to get one earth drop and, of course, I needed two.

I enjoy LW because, as a NE Hunter, I do a lot of skinning and you are right, you can always sell the hides. I tried enchanting at first, but it was hard to lvl and I just didn't like herbalism. Running around looking for plants was just not my idea of a good time. I also play a draneai who is a miner and jewelcrafter. That's fun too!

tailoring for making money is waya fun with enchanting as a help

my advice to you is
drop LW
take up tailoring

go farming for the supplies or just buy them, wen ur doing pve STILL SELL YOUR HIDES!

then only once u have the money to shoot it up which seems ur 70.... get enchanting

u first make money at 200 tailor
then the big one for me was runecloth belt 275 tailor, 1g-ish to make

LW will help a druid and rogue out more than any other proff.Because of the BOP set you can make at 375LW.Why everyone is stuck on "this wont make me $$$ "I will never know.You are missing the point of LW.Also with 2.4 there are many more recipes for LW that are some of the best upgrades in the game for (LW only btw)that are the equivelant of T-6 and better.You should research a proffesion before you drop it cause it doesnt make you $$$.There are 25 dailies now you will never be without $$$.Make your char. better with the BOP set and be more valuable to your guild and your raid groups.

This at the godfather or whatever your name is.Yes cobrascale armor kits are higher priced on every server so what.What is your point?How many Cobrascale armor kits do you sell a day?Dont answer that rhetorical question because we all know it is zero.You might be able to sell 1 a week if you are lucky.Every guild has a 375 LW nowadays so they make the armor kits for their guild for free guildee just provides the mats.If you dont have a 375 LW in your guild you are a newer guild that has no or little 70's so no one needs the armor kit in the guild as it is.Or you go buy the mats and tip the LW 5-10g for making it.Patch2.4 hurt us on this one primal nethers BOE now!LW is for the BOP set,you will make $$$ but the set is the most important thing.

lw is a rep based profession in that you will only ever make serious money if you spend time running instances. Cleftide, Cobraide, Nethercleft, Nethercobra, Netherscale ammo pouch, Quiver of a thousand feathers etc this is where you will make your money.

Also there are some great bop recipes out there like the primal set and boots of utter darkness for rogues
