my wife just found out that this doesn't apply to nodes of Tastyfish during the Fishing Tournament, that is a real let-down.
You can find it in Trunks found while fishing, which is a great reason to fish up all Floating Debris that you spot.
With the latest patch this should locate Tasty Fish. I found this three times in the river east of Tarren Mill. The first time you find it you see the recipe. Each time after it shows itself as a chest that you can open but with nothing to loot. If you get a chest with nothing to loot, give to an alt or sell on trade channel.
I Love Fishing
I got mine from a crate (I can't remember what kind) while fishing for deviate fish in the barrens. But you can get it pretty much from any fished up crate, regardless of where you get it. I got pretty excited thinking this would own for fishing contests, then found out that it doesn't work with tastyfish.
I got a watertight trunk on my second cast ever in Hilsbrad Foothills, in the river northeast of Tarren Mill. I opened it and got a green boe ring, some leather, some cloth, some crap, and this book. My skill is at 75, cant wait to track fish.

This Book is easy to get, remember when I started fishing I heard of this book, read that a good place to find it was/is at Shadowprey Village in Desolace. I went there and got a total of 9 books in two hours. Yesterday I wanted to get it for an alt, and within 1 hour cought 7 of them. The book is easy to get, just a shame that you can not sell it on the AH, but as long as you keep it in the trunk/chest/crate... it's still a nice thing to give to your guildies.
