Can someone explain what this means

its pretty easy to cap on this stat mabye 1~2 peices of gear with 25 or so should do it till sun well and its the kind ot thing where anyone who ever plans to melee a boss should get it for tanks its an additional 10% chance to hit and the reduction in parries means less parry induced thrashings from a reset swing timer
is expertise a good stat for hunters at all (and no im not talking about so called "melees hunters")
expertise seems like something id want but since it's under the "melee" tab for stats i have second thouhgts... anyone?
Why is it that when you have an item with quite a bit of expertise equiped it only says you have a tiny bit of expertise and not as much as the stat on the piece of gear?
Expertise decreases your opponents chance to dodge, parry, or block an attack. Its generally useful, but only so much so. Also, dont forget to use +Hit items. These decrease your chance to miss. Chances to miss (between equal lvls of weapon skill and defense skill) are 5% for 1H weapons, 9% for 2H weapon, and 24% for dual weilding
