since patch 2.3 they stopped some stuff with twinking in hunters and other spells.Are 19 twinks pointless now?

I would have to say so. i created a 19 twink warrior, and they just aren't as fun as i hoped. i think i'm moving on to the 29 bracket for use of greater abilities and a Warsong to Arathi Basin choice. Warsong gets SO old when it's the only choice...

Lol, you make it sound like playing a twink gives you a good grasp of pvp in general.  I doubt sensible players who are good at pvp and twink would say that.

19 twinks have become old.. and they get boring fast with so little to do.  But people still make them, and they can be fun if you get EVERY enchant. And dont go halfsies on your twinking.

well anyway i had made a twink mage before patch 2.3 and i have not been playing with him on  the 19 bracket cause i have been going horde for a while(a week.)if u wanna see him go to worldofwarcraft.com go to the armory look up scrix(he is a gnome mage on the battlegroup retaliation)he looks sad(in a way) but i am only being supoorted by a lvl 34 hunter(Wilburt on the retaliation abttlegroup also). I have know been playing on a warlock (Irog retliation also)

Twinks are actually good for the WoW economy. It encourages the flow of large sums of gold from higher levels who want to twink to lowbies who got some 19/29/etc rare.

That's how my first toon got its mount... looted 2 sentry cloaks from 2 consecutive stocks runs :D

19.29.39.49 > Twinks are not pointless.  When the new expansion  comes out 'WoTLK', all of the Tier epics I have collected will be replaced by greens.  However I can log onto my 19 twink and still be at the top of my game.

Twinks are timeless...

If you think twinks are stupid or ridiculous than I suggest you not get your epic flying mount.  Cause you don't really need it, right?  Both are for fun, which is what gaming is all about.

I have a 19 twink warrior.  I used to think that HP was the key.  I stacked up to 1.7k unbuffed.  Recently I have "re-formatted" my twink.  I started stacking strength instead of my stamina enchants.  Now I am at 1.45k HP BUT I also have 250 attack power, unbuffed/without Battle Shout.

I notice that I am able to kill things much faster, and I end every encounter with significantly more HP.

19 Twinks are not pointless. you can make you main a lvl 19 and be the best 19. i have a 19 friend and now his pvp kills are 25000 give or take. you could have a lvl 19 and have 2000 health... like my friend. It's easy. its fun and it does not take long to get.

D'you think that it would be possible to stack up to a 100% crit chance as a twink?

It would probably be a rogue

Base 40% crit chance + 30% (Puncturing Wounds) + 5% from talents + 40% from tier 1 Assasination talents.

I played a 19 hunter twink before I actually got deep in pvp with my other hunter who is 69. All I can say it did for me was extreme kiting skillz, but with so many different abilities down the road, its a major change.

Twinking is so lame it ruins lower level pvp, why dont ppl just make there lvl 70 be good at pvp instead of having to own lowbies, who dont feel like spending hundreds of gold on a lvl 19 pvper
