Ok for general, holy is best. For 10 man you probably want 1 tank, 1 off tank, and 5-6 dps and 2-3 healers. All classes can dps, paladins just dont do as much as alot of others, holy pallies bring alot more to the table.

Prot. Pallies aren't so required unless you get into 25 man content and you need more than one dedicated tank. We have 1 prot pally in our guild for raids, and 2-3 holy pallies. We have no ret pallies, might want one in the melee dps group for the crit buff but switch out a rogue? feral druid, dps warrior, and enhancement shaman all have their spots. That would cut the number of rogues in the raid to 1. <shrug> can be viable but you would have to show how much dps you do.

improved judgement of the crusader applies to all attacks made on the judged target, the entire raid would benefit from a 3% crit boost, not to mention keeping the judgements of any other pallies active.
