just an idea but it would be helpful if after u visited an building of a special nature or named building it would be remembered on the map of the main city map or locater on the mini map

Actually it would be better to be able to mark specific sites on maps for specific items - like great mining sites, fishing spots, etc. so that you can return to them.  This tied in with a notebook so you can note as to which tag is for what item.  This would make returning to quest givers alot easier as well since I am older and my memory is failing - I like the new patch where quest givers now come up as golden question marks.  Also, a notebook could be useful to remember what attacks/spells work for the different mobs/horde/etc.

It would also be nice to be able to zoom more in on the maps which would give more detailed info - for example mountain passes that are passable, buidlings that have multi entrances, maps more like tht are used for orienteering.
