on my first char. i became enchanter + herbalist. Enchanting was crap at the start and i would usually make money of my stacks of herbs. I disenchanted ALOT and leveld to fast for my enchanting so I was disenchanting mats that were used at a way higher enchanting lvl. After i bought my 40 mount I saved up about 40g and spent it all on mats I needed, then I caught up to what I was disenchanting and now its a sinch to train. If i'm need of money I occasionaly sell a few mats just to get a bit of cash. What I'm trying to say is enchanting may seem hard to train...but the higher level you are the easier it is to train and make money. There is however a couple of mistakes ive made. Without checking the AH i keep on disenchanting tons of blues I get as drops. Later to find out it was worth 50-70g at AH! You learn from your mistakes though and enchanting eventually pays off.
