Yeah the droprate was great for me as well.  I remember it being horrid on my warrior and dreading having to do it on my hunter but if it wasn't every kill it was every other kill that I had the venom drop.  I killed the Marshlight Bleeder's on the Northern shores of Marshlight lake.  They are the ones with the pruple stingers.  Anyway, good luck
