That's why some of us want to hit Exalted before 51-- It's harder to do, and thus rarer and more hardcore. Anybody can go in and grind AV for rep. Not everyone has the knowledge/patience to get Exalted with other races by 40.

Same deal: I've had people ask me, "Why grind rep for a kodo when you could just get the PvP mount at 60?" Because anyone can do that! It's not special or unique when everyone and their mom is riding around on a Black War Kodo.
