Cooking can be learned from a Cooking Trainer...there is one in some small towns and all large (main) cities.

Cooking can be leveled up to 150.

Expert Cooking is learned from a manual, much like the silk bandages for First Aid. Search for "expert cook" on thottbot for more specifics, but the manual is located as follows:
- Alliance: Ashenvale
- Horde: Desolace

Expert Cooking can be leveled up to 225.

Artisan Cooking is the objective of a quest. The quest can be obtained after lvling your cooking to 225. Get the quest from a goblin named Dirge in Tanaris. He's the Butcher in the back-right corner of the inn.

Artisan Cooking can be lvled to 300.

book for expert fishing can also be obtained in booty bay on the bottom level of the dock. fishing instructor is in a shop under the inn.
