i HAVE A LVL 52 WARRIOR A MINER AND A jc , BUT I HAVE NEGLECTED MY SKILLS FOR A WHILE AN D;AM ONLY UP TO 270 IN MINING AND 160 IN jc. MY main question is about prospecting, it seems im too low to preospect vertain ore. DO i need to up my JC skills in order to mine higher lvl ore such as Mithril? Or di  i need to up my Mining skills to do that? Thnx a bunch

you need to up your JC skill to prospect higher level ores. I have heard people say in other posts but prospecting is a JC talent NOT mining.

Mining is seperate from JC..you need to up your mining to get the right ore and you need to up your JC to be able to Prospect that ore
