on the above posters question of scorpid, cat or wolf. All 3 are good for diffrent roles. it is how i seprate my pets. i specialize there training for specific purposes. wolves are great raid pets with there furious howl  party buff, cats are great pvp pets, there heavy damage is very nice, scorpids are good tank pets and pets for general grinding/farming. I personally use a boar ( the black armored boar from RFK) for raids, a wolf ( the ghost wolf) for general use/farming,a wind serpent( the one  that summons with a black cloud from 1k needles) for pvp. wind serpents are exllent damage dealers especially if you have both bestal discipline& Go For The Throat. if you have both those talents maxed and crit on average every 3.75 secs you can spam lightnign breath ( which is considered spell damage so is armor piricng)my wind serpent currently hits for 600-800 nature damage per hit pretty regularlly, which is not too shabby.
