In the real world, healers are sometimes busy trying to keep the MT alive.
People DO make mistakes. If you sit there in cat form waiting to be healed instead of healing yourself if the healers are busy (or poping barsking and tranquility if your group is in trouble) you suck. l2p
Ofc you won't keep the whole party/raid alive. But if you buy the healers 2 seconds, that could mean that the pot CD will be over and they can drink another one if oom, or that that large heal went out and the MT is still alive.
Face it, you can heal and in certain situations you SHOULD heal. Are you a great healer in feral gear? no, of course not. Can you save the day throwing a heal? definitely.
BTW, I don't mind having int/spi in the set. I seriously doubt the other stats would be significantly buffed if blizz removes int/spi so welcome they are.
