I know this is a newbie question and I may get my answer once I finish installing the game I just bought, but until now I have been playing for free (10 days) and I'd like to satisfy my curiosity.

I chose Herbalism and Alchemy, I leveled them up without guide or anything, just picking the herbs I found in my way and making the newest potions I learned when I had spare money. But when I reached level 100 with both professions, they didn't level anymore.

I searched the forums for an answer, but the first trainer they talk about is for level 150, not for 100. I tried collecting Bruiseweed and Wild Steelbloom and creating only orange named potions, but nothing worked.

So I figured out that: a) I'm not good searching the forums and there's something I'm doing wrong or b) For the Trial Account there is a limit even for professions, maximum level 100.

This is the question: am I right or wrong about the limit for Trial Accounts? I don't think this is of much use, but maybe some other new players will face this problem and it would help to have the answer here.

yes, trial accounts can only gain up to a maximum of 100 skill points. once you get your real account you'll be able to get past it.

Thank you for answering, you are right, after validating my account with the game number I started leveling both professions, picking up high level herbs and creating potions. Good it worked ^^
