okay, i know alot of people are having trouble, this goes for all pet skills. I had this problem too until i just figured it out, created a thottbot account, and made this post. To train your current pet, in any skill that he/she is capable of, all you have to do is catch an animal that already knows it, then tell him to use it a few times and you will learn it and be able to pass it on to your main pet... for prowl i went to STV, caught a shadowhide panther, and made him go in and out of stealth 6 times. After 6 tries, in little yellow words "you have learned new ability: Prowl (rank 1) appeared in the chat box. at that point i abandoned the pet, went to the stables and got my main kitty, and taught him prowl, easy as that. hope this helps guys
