First of all Mystins, you are wrong, this is a forum on World of Warcraft and to place how I or anybody else feels about this item under this item's heading is exactly what this forum is all about. So lighten up. You sound like a moderator for the failed Abit 9X motherboard.
Second, I do need to apologize, (though I am not the one who lost the roll to this as I am a Priest,) I did not fully divulge the whole story because it wasn't relevant.
The pally who won these is our guild leader. He is, and has been geared with, granted, hard earned epic gear. He has taken us from one boss to the next inside Kara and right onto Nigthbane. Unfortunately, we can't beat these bosses very easily and in most cases, we wipe. There is a pattern developing here where once he does get a good drop, he moves on to the next boss.
But back to the topic. Of course a pally can wear these. Just like I can wear http://thottbot.com/i28602. But I'll be dammed if I roll on this knowing that either the Lock or Mage need them and at the same time I'd be pissed if they rolled on http://thottbot.com/i28612.
I have witnessed through the years how pally's have cried how a warrior won the roll for an item which was clearly meant for a pally. Maybe you pallys feel like this is retribution.
These Vanbraces are better suited for a warrior than a pally. Period. The warrior will use these and hang onto them for quite some time. A pally on the other hand, will cast these aside just as soon as something like http://thottbot.com/i28512 comes along, which drops with Maiden.
This has nothing to do with a Shaman or a Druid doing my job, which of coarse, they never will, or a pally doing a Warrior's job, nor is this about some social behavioral difference between US and them.
You pally's, I bet, will cry foul and scream if a warrior ever rolled on an item that has +int and won it.
This post is faded because it has a negative score.
