Scarlet Monastery contains 4 seperate instances in which i find to be very easy.
First off is graveyard. Min level i would suggest is 29. Youll start off in a torture room with a bunch of elite guys and a boss that drops some fist weapons and a dagger sometimes. after you'll be in a graveyard with a lot of elites and non elites.(non elites travel in groups of 3)you dont need to clear, but if you want the most xp and loot i suggest you do. at the end of graveyard your in a tomb with same mobs you faced before. Boss here is easy but watch out for his spells, he drops some cloth shoulders and an off hand caster weapon. theres also a few rare spawns in graveyard, ill leave it to you to find them.
Next is library. min level i think is 33 or so. casual and easy killing for the first part with some healers and mobs with pets. dont froget to kill the houndmaster here, he drops some good loot and is fairly easy with a paladin tank. This is a short instance so dont sweat the rest of it just watch out for the guys with mana burn who WILL target casters and drain them. Boss here is sorta hard if your group is stupid. Just watch out for his silence and youll be fine. at 50% health boss sheilds and does mass AoE. MOVE OUT OF THE ROOM WHEN HE DOES THIS or you will take a shitload of damage. boss drops caster gear-shoulders,dagger,staff. dont froget to loot the chest in back of him which contains scarlet key!
Now for armory. Min level is 35 that i suggest. tough elites here, watch out for the casters in the begining with their elementals. Once you get inside the armory (you aint outside anymore) you will be pulling in groups of 2-3 with usually one healer in each group. target the healer first and go from there. Boss here is easy with a good group. make sure you aggro him when everyone is there (4 guards spawn in the previous hallway when you aggro and leave when you kill). Everyone move away when he does 'blades of light' and casters make sure you dont waste your mana when he does that cause he immune then. boss drops a good 2h axe, nice mail helm, and some other loot. when he dies, a bunch of non elites come in to avenge him. mages use arcane explosion and they die fast.
Last we have here in cathedral. Min level 36 or 37. theres a few patrolers in the courtyard area so make sure you pull them first or pull groups away from them so you dont die from adds. Kill the mymeridions fast as they enrage and do alot of damage to the tank when low health. When you enter the actual cathedral you'll see a ton of guys all kneeling down. keep the lower levels away from the inside so they dont pull at first and get a higher level to pull the first few groups outside. proceed into the cathedral and make sure you clear the sides. if you aggro the boss the entire cathedral will rush you and you will wipe. Mograin & Whitemane are a bitch team, but you should get them easy with a good tank and healer. Kill mograine as you would and other mob- tank and spank. once he dies Whitemane rushes out. once whitemane is at 50% she sleeps the entire group and rezzes Mograine then heals herself to 100%. have all members target the priest first as she does heals and shield that make life hard for you. once she dies kill mograine, but beware of his divine shield. this team drops a necklace,2h mace, 1hmace, mail gloves,shield, and cloth hat. there is also a secret boss here in the right side of the chapel. click the torch there to reveal the undead priest. he drops various greens.
